Cabin was as advertised with unbelievable views. Was just my wife and I but plenty of room for a family. Kitchen was stocked with all needed cooking gear and the gas grill worked great for cooking steaks.

This was my third stay at Viewtopia and certainly not my last. The name couldn’t be more suitable. The views are out of this world! The upgraded bathrooms and tub in the master are glorious, and the beds are so comfortable! Flip on the convenient electric fireplace, and put some relaxing music on the Bluetooth stereo, and you’ve got the perfect mountain cabin vibes. The hot tub is the icing. Grill out as much as possible, watch a sunrise or two, and don’t forget to look up at the stars! We’ve seen deer and heard elk bugling and coyotes howling. When the animals are lying low, the silence is almost deafening… in the best way. The location is perfect, with zip lining, hiking, Blue Ridge, and Ellijay right around the corner. I also cannot say enough great things about the host, Dave. This place is perfect for a romantic getaway, a girls/guys trip, or a family vacation. Don’t let the beetles “bug” you. They’re harmless! I’m already looking forward to my next stay!

We LOVED Viewtopia! This cabin is so wonderful and has true Viewtopia views! The road can be scary this first time but easy once you’ve done it. The cabin is designed so well to spend time together, as a family, while still having separate areas to spend time alone. The king bedroom on top level has the most beautiful views with the absolutely wonderful clawfoot tub for long soaks (this was my fav), and the hot water stays hot to fill up the whole tub! The cabin is centrally located making Ellijay or Blue Ridge an easy trip. We have rented many cabins over the last few years, and we have now found our BEST-Viewtopia! We will be coming back for many years! Loved it all!

I cannot recommend Viewtopia enough. My husband and I had the absolute best long weekend getaway. Clean, peaceful, and incredible views. We plan to bring our family and friends next year for them to enjoy as much as we did!

we found Viewtopia while searching for a place to spend our first anniversary. Once we saw it we knew right away this was the place. The cabin is beautiful and the view was amazing ?

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and had a wonderful time. We were hoping for somewhere that was quiet and isolated, and Viewtopia was exactly what we were hoping for.
The views from the cabin are stunning. The cabin itself was comfortable and well-equipped with everything we needed to be comfortable - plenty of pots and pans for cooking and everything we needed to make coffee in the morning.
We loved staying warm by the fireplace and drinking our coffee on the balcony looking at the beautiful mountain views. We also loved relaxing in the hot tub!
The location was great, right in between Blue Ridge and Ellijay but in a nice quiet area away from everything. We would love to return one day!

I don’t want to tell you how fantastic this cabin is because I want to be able to book it for myself. We come to the Smokey’s annually staying in the Blue Ridge area or up to Gatlinburg. If you’re looking for more nature, more seclusion, less hustle and bustle, come here. But hands down, without question, this is the best cabin and best views we’ve had in ANY cabin in the Smokey’s. The updated bathrooms were such a nice change from the old plastic showers you find in other stays. The hot tub was huge! The views are completely unmatched. You have miles and miles of Mountain View’s on 180° of property. The property backs directly up to the national forest and is walkable distance to the Benton McKay Trail. We really enjoyed the gas fireplace and loved being able to take long soaks in the gorgeous clawfoot tub. I definitely recommend an AWD/4WD vehicle for this cabin as there is a lot of gravel/clay road on the way up although the last bit is paved. And definitely follow the directions that the owner is kind enough to provide. GPS will get you there but you’ll be carsick by the time you arrive. The directions provided by the owner are much easier to use. Speaking of, the owner is readily available at all times for your needs and questions, they were more than hospitable! Viewtopia is an absolutely stunning stay!

The view was way better than what can be portrayed. The house was clean, big, and fun with many things to do. It’s close to all the surrounding towns and we will definitely be returning. Thank you for the wonderful time, and we look forward to coming back.

Dave was a fantastic host. My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the cabin a few nights on our honeymoon and the views and hot tub were the perfect combination. Every bedroom of the house had a view and if you’re an early riser you’ll be lucky to catch a sunrise of a lifetime.

Can’t beat the views. The house was clean and very comfortable. Dave was excellent with instructions and communication. 10/10 definitely would recommend. We are hoping to visit again soon.

We had a great stay at the mountain cabin! The location was peaceful and scenic ,the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. The cabin was cozy and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing visit. There were quite a few ladybugs inside the house, but they weren’t really bothersome and didn’t take away from the overall experience ? . Definitely a lovely spot, and we’d happily stay here again!

The property was beautiful great views. The drive is definitely interesting has some steep climbs and turns on side of the mount can do it in a car but would highly recommend 4x4. Over all great experience and Dave was very helpful and responsive when we checked in and during our stay.

I have stayed in many cabins around Blue Ridge over the years, but Viewtopia tops them all and it’s not even close.

Its namesake is the crown jewel with incredible panoramic views of lush green mountains, or colors if you’re lucky.

The cabin itself is larger than you’d expect and was stocked in abundance. We were even given a bottle of wine which is always a nice touch.

There were no cons. We will definitely be back!

This is a great place to relax and unwind without distractions. The home is very spacious and well equipped, as well very clean. Our stay consisted of my wife and I only, but Daves home is well suited for familys too. If you are looking for a mountain home with great views and privacy this is it.

My wife and I had the pleasure of spending five nights in this beautiful cabin nestled beside a serene creek, whose gentle sounds provided the perfect soundtrack as we relaxed on the back porch and took in the peaceful view of the surrounding trees. The cabin is exceptionally spacious and thoughtfully equipped with everything you might need. The beds are incredibly comfortable, the kitchen is fully stocked, and the family room sofa is perfect for cozy evenings. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our five night stay to viewtopia. The cabin was very clean and the views were just spectacular. While there are neighboring cabins you can neither see or hear them where you are situated... This brings the perfect amount of privacy to enjoy the nature and beautiful views. There were plenty of amenities and the kitchen was pretty well stocked with cookware, plates, glasses, utensils, etc. The furniture was comfortable.... The cabin warmly decorated on the inside. We look forward to a return visit in the future and have already told several of our friends about this place.

My wife and I booked this cabin just for a getaway work trip. Change of scenery. I saw the pic’s and reviews online but, they did not do Justice for what we actually experienced. This was way more house than just my wife and I needed but, it made us not feel cramped at all. The views are just amazing. You can sit on the porch or in the hot tub and watch the sun rise over the mountains in the east. The 2nd level porch goes all the way around the house. The gas grill was very conveniently located and we used it just about every night. Inside, you have 3 levels to the house. The master is very large and has a deck of it’s own. The main level has the living area, kitchen and another bedroom. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need for a long stay. The lower level is a great place to send the kids. It has 2 bedrooms and a living area with a large screen tv. Now, the drive into town takes a minute so make sure you have what you need but, I think that’s why we rent cabins anyways so that we can get away. Just a beautiful place. We will be renting this cabin again.

This was our second Christmas at Viewtopia, & we’re already looking forward to next Christmas. Nothing beats rocking in the rocking chairs on the porch while grilling, taking in the views, & listening to nature. Last year, we heard an elk bugle. This year, we heard coyotes & saw several deer. When the temp drops, you can hit the hot tub or move inside to play cards or board games by the fire. We also appreciated being able to throw on some cozy cabin music via the Bluetooth sound system they have. There is plenty to do in the towns surrounding Viewtopia, but there’s nothing like time at the cabin. Would recommend this place a thousand times over!

This stunning cabin blew us away, it was our first time staying in the mountains. Not only is it beautiful inside and out, it has everything you could possibly need. We would give it a million stars. The bedrooms and bathrooms are immaculate and huge, the kitchen and living room are cozy with spectacular views, and we were incredibly lucky to get a little snow. The wrap-around decks have breathtaking views you just cannot get enough of, we were so sad to leave. The owner was absolutely wonderful and really makes this cabin special and so welcoming. We highly recommend this heavenly cabin and we will definitely be returning.

Overall the place was amazing in/out! This trip was just me and my dog Luna and more than we needed but no regrets!! The only negative I could really give is access road in is a bit of a challenge but this is a mountainous area so an all-wheel or 4wheel drive vehicle would give you more confidence! I will definitely be coming back! As advertised and again the Views!! 🙂

great place to stay....the view was amazing! good streaming on the tv, had really nice water pressure and super hot water, washer and dryer was great, overall, highly recommend!

My husband and I stayed at Viewtopia Cabin, and had an amazing, relaxing escape. The cabin is really beautiful, inside and out. We loved sitting on the porch, taking in the views, bird calls, and fresh pine scented air. We enjoyed the fireplace in the evenings, and on the one rainy day. It was perfect. The view is gorgeous, and wraps around the cabin, which is unique. Sunrises and sunsets, fog in the valley, with the mist rising...we were content to stay in and enjoy all that, but we did venture out to take some scenic drives. When it was time to come back to the cabin, we were happy to be back there! We will stay here again!

House was great, views just as described. The road and driveway could be a bit dangerous in the winter, especially if snow or ice is predicted. Everything was perfectly functional but there are a few minor maintenance concerns that need to be addressed (nothing that impacted our stay). Wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

First I have to say we booked the cabin for the view and the fire place. Communication with everyone was excellent and prompt. We originally had planned to find different places to eat dinner every night but after the first few minutes in the cabin we through that out the window. We made dinner and ate on the porch every night and enjoyed the view. Coffee in the morning by the fire place and on the porch were unmatched. Hiking trails mid day and hitting the shore for dinner each night to get back and enjoy the property. It was so peaceful, comfy, and it felt like home. I wish this was my property ! This place was a wonderful gate away that’s actually not terribly far from delicious restaurants and activities. Nestled near the top of a beautiful mountain, the view is absolutely breathtaking. The place was incredibly clean, we were greeted with a delicious bottle of wine and treats. Good WiFi and ac works great. Great value!

If you are looking for a beautiful cabin in North Georgia with an amazing view, look no further. My wife and I have stayed at nearly a dozen cabins in this area over the past few years and this is easily the best view that you are going to find. The landscape opens up before you as you pull up the driveway, with Rich Mountain and its range dominating the view. Evenings are particularly spectacular with the night sky untainted by light pollution. The cabin itself is lovely and it's very easy to fall in love with. Beware, that you may find yourself never wanting to leave!

Best view we've ever had and we stay in BR quite a bit. We loved that there was plenty of room for the dogs to run around outside. The cabin was just beautiful, honestly went spent most of our time on that wonderful back porch. Again just an amazing view. Our time there was much needed and we got exactly what we were looking for....Peace!! And we got it and couldnt be more grateful for the visit to Viewtopia

My gf and I recently stayed at Viewtopia on our first trip to the Blue Ridge area. The views of the mountains are absolutely incredible! The property is very well maintained and well stocked with everything needed for us to enjoy our stay. Everything was within a 30 minute drive, great hiking trails, Horseshoe Bend Park (my pup’s favorite), and stables for horseback riding. The host, Dave, checked in regularly and made us feel at home. Can’t wait to go back!

MAGNIFICENT ~~ million dollar view. private and peaceful. top-notch luxury inside and out. All furnishing and decor appear upscale and/or custom made. It's decorated and stocked as if the owner uses it regularly and not just set up to run as a rental. Cooking was easy with great quality pots and pans. easy drive to very top of mountain along with crystal clear instructions provided. close to everything-- location can't be beat. Only stayed 6 days, but we could have stayed 2 weeks and found interesting things to do and see every day. It was lady bug season so we made a game of catch, name, and release of any cute little ladybugs that found their way into the house. Why fight nature-- have fun with it. House manager always available for questions. Three stories with a bedroom and bathroom on each floor ---would be perfect for families who want a little privacy. Don't hesitate booking.

Viewtopia was exactly as it is described. The cabin itself is private, peaceful, homey, and luxurious all at the same time. Beautiful views is an understatement. We enjoyed the sunny days, rainy/windy days as well as the foggy days. It was like looking out at a new, unique painting every day. The hot tub with a view, easy to use fireplace, grill, rocking chairs, and upgraded bathrooms made the stay all the more luxurious. The furniture is also extremely comfortable. Cannot say enough great things about this place and our host. Dave was more than accommodating and quickly replied to every question or concern we had... even on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We definitely plan on booking this place again!

The view is amazing!! The master upstairs is great- bed was awesome. The bedroom on main floor and the larger one downstairs were really nice. It would be nice if the tv upstairs could be updated and larger. The drive up/down the mountain to the cabin was at first an issue but once we learned how to navigate it we could do it on our van. The kids loved the hot tub also. We could see the sunrises and sunsets so that was especially nice and beautiful! The manager was very helpful and took care of things as needed. He helped us up the mountain the first night which was a perfect storm for us- pitch black, rainy and front wheeled drive full van. He got us up without an issue. He tried to fix the fireplace -gas logs-for us but couldn’t get repairman out til after we were gone- he gave us a discount for not being able to have a fire. That was very nice. I would stay here again. The view was outstanding!

Absolutely Majiestic!!!! Accommodations far exceeding my expectations. I travel from Atlanta to multiple cabins on Airbnb throughout the year, and this place was by far the best cabin I've been to.

The views were amazing (sunrise views). The house was well stocked with everything you needed and was very clean. The location is absolutely perfect because you can walk to trails or drive to the downtown of Blue Ridge in just a few minutes.

Dave, our host, was so responsive when I had questions or requests - he responded in under 30 min. He was also proactive about providing some recommendations after hearing about some of my interests. Directions are clear and well marked.

I could not have had a better time. I certainly will be returning many times due to the great hospitality and absolutely beautiful lodging.

The view was amazing and the layout of the house was perfect. I liked the washer/dryer on the main level. The only issue for me was the ladybugs…I just wasn’t prepared for the abundance of them. But, it isn’t a big enough problem to keep me from returning. I did not need 4wd, but we had great weather during our stay. Know that there is a rough section of gravel road near the bottom that will make your vehicle filthy, but the view at the top is worth it!

Dave place was excellent. Views were amazing exactly like the picture but even better in person. Be prepare for the drive up the mountain but once you have done it, the second time is a breeze. Easy check in overall me and my wife will definitely be back.

Wow!!! The view 10/10! The host, Dave, goes above and beyond making it the best experience possible! I have zero complaints. We had every day booked from sun up to sun down but decided to cancel a whole day just to enjoy the cabin.

I thought this place was spectacular, it had amazing views, was clean, fun, easy to figure out everything... Internet was a bit slow, but made it easier to disconnect, play some games, do some hot-tubbing and just enjoy the nature for a bit.... a very lovely space for families, I'd suggest a 4 wheel vehicle getting up the initial part of cub rd, or least have some momentum ready to roll on up that hill (i had a moment where I wondered if I was going to make it, lol)... Hoped for a bear sighting, but did not, I did see some deer, squirrels, crows, maybe heard an eagle or hawk in the distance, and lots of scary nature sounds, pretty sure it might have been Sasquatch... Definitely squatchy out there. Overall, I'd love to come back and spend time, bring family, etc... Thank you so much, Dave, we loved it!

We can’t say enough good things about our stay at Viewtopia! My wife and I enjoyed a few days there with our 3 month old and two pups. After being there for one day we knew we needed to extend our stay. We messaged Dave and he responded immediately confirming our extra day! The cabin was everything we were looking for in a quick getaway. We spent every morning watching the amazing sunrise and eating breakfast in Blue Ridge and exploring the mountains. The afternoons and evenings were spent enjoying the views on the wrap around deck, grilling, or relaxing in the hot tub. One major plus with having two dogs was that the wrap around porch had a gate that completely enclosed the porch so we knew our pups were safe.

Everything about this place was just perfect for our family. Dave was an excellent host, always quick to respond and very helpful. We hope to go back and enjoy all that this cabin has to offer very soon!

We had the best time at viewtopia over Labor Day weekend. This is our third time staying at the cabin and it just gets better and better. The views are stunning, our favorite part is to sit on the balcony in the morning with coffee and watch the fog from top of the mountain roll out. Dave and team are very responsive. I highly recommend going to Bear Claw Winery, they have live music on the weekend. The bathroom remodel is beautiful. We can’t wait for our next stay.

The beauty and peacefulness of this place cannot be overstated. Awe inspiring views from all three levels. The “smoke “ from the mountains slowly engulfed us one evening after a relaxing rain shower. Felt like we were in a cloud! We stopped in Ellijay (per Dave’s suggestion) to pick up groceries and never left the cabin. Fully stocked kitchen made preparing meals a breeze. Again, the view while grilling on the porch is unmatched.
The hot tub was put to good use on the daily. Even had an amazing view from there! We made use of the entertainment room on the lower level which included table soccer. Cannot express how relaxing this place is. Totally worth the commute from Florida. The drive up to the cabin was an exiting adventure all its own. Wish we could have stayed longer. Almost had to drag my wife out to the truck upon checking out. This cabin blew away all of our expectations and made for the perfect retreat for our 15th wedding anniversary. The card and wine were a nice touch.

Our stay at Viewtopia was as amazing as the first time and as will be the next stay at Viewtopia. Everything about the stay was 100 percent fantastic. I love this property and the Management, everything about it. By far, Viewtopia is the Best Stay in Cherry Log and elsewhere. Five Star.

My husband and I planned a short get away at the last moment and happily, Viewtopia was available. What an oasis in the sky! The home was perfectly appointed, completely with gorgeous, newly renovated bathrooms. We could have spent our entire time on the deck, looking out over the mountains and watching the hummingbirds flit about. But, the house is also an easy drive to the town of Blue Ridge, where we enjoyed fabulous food, shopping and friendly people. Best of all, there are endless hiking paths just steps from the property where we could roam for hours with our happy pup.

Viewtopia was a perfect vacation. We only stayed 3 days but we had endless adventures. Thank you, Dave, for being a consummate host! We’ll be back!

Such a cool place with the perfect name of ‘ Viewtopia’. Its all about the amazing view!! You have a Complete sense of privacy and remoteness while maintaining convenient access.
The road accessing the property does require your attention and I would heed the warning to arrive in daylight - but it was not a problem even in a small SUV with no 4 wd and the top of the hill is definitely worth the incline!
Great extras like cozy throw blankets and fans. One highlight is a fantastic fully fenced -in deck surrounding the house so a perfect play- pen for children or a dog! Dave was great to communicate and work with.
Definitely a peaceful, well - designed and equipped get-away with an amazing view!

We cannot say enough great things about viewtopia. The pictures in my opinion do not do it justice. The views are absolutely incredible and the sunrises were unbelievable! The hot tub and fire place were great amenities we used every day. Dave was a great host and was great at communicating and answering questions. This property should not be skipped over it was definitely one of the best experiences we have had renting anywhere we will definitely return. The one recommendation I would make is to follow the instructions and make your initial arrival during the day the road up to the cabin can be a little challenging at first but was easily navigated throughout the stay.

We loved our stay at Viewtopia! Unfortunately it did storm two of the days we were there so lots of fog but it was still absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. The master bedroom is very spacious and the master bathroom is absolutely wonderful. We felt right at home at Viewtopia and were so so sad to go! The views are absolutely breathtaking! Be sure to wake up everyday you can for the sunrise... we've missed it so much!

Amazing view! Beautiful house and so welcoming. They had snacks, wine, and even a bag of treats for our dog. The furnishings were comfortable and the wrap around porch was all enclosed so I felt safe letting my dog lose on it. The road up to the house is an adventure and my rav4 struggled a little but made it without 4 wheel drive. Communication was easy and kept us up to date with severe weather changes. I would recommend this property.

What an absolutely wonderful place! We spent the week of Christmas at Viewtopia and made lifelong memories enjoying the spectacular view. Others have commented on the drive to the cabin, but it was easily accessible (and we came in following a winter storm!). The views cannot be beat and we had the unique experience of experience cold snowy days at the beginning of our trip and warm spring-like sunshine days at the end of our trip. The hot tub is a must enjoy, especially at sunrise! Highly recommend staying at Viewtopia to relax, unwind, and enjoy the beauty of the Blue Ridge area.

We had a great time, I will say the view is definitely worth the drive….BUT if you don’t enjoy the drive, stock up on groceries and stay for the view!

Everything as pictured. We grilled, used the hot tub, sat on the porches and saw some wildlife. The VIEW is amazing!!! Pictures don’t do it justice. The drive in from the road to the cabin gave me a panic attack. But in order to get the view you have to get up the mountain. The cabin itself is very nice, cozy yet spacious. Had everything we needed for our stay.

I have been to the blue ridge many times but this was by far my favorite stay w the best view! The home was beautiful, clean and spacious! I can’t possibly even put into words how beautiful the view was! I would go back in a heartbeat and recommend this beautiful home to others!

We had a great time at Viewtopia. We spent 2 days sitting and looking out at the view. The information provided on local breweries was very useful as our third day was spent visiting local breweries and restaurants.

We really enjoyed our stay at Viewtopia. The view was phenomenal. The beds were very comfy. The kitchen was nice & had everything we needed to enjoy family meals at this fantastic property. This home is near the top of a mountain with stunning views of mountains in Georgia and North Carolina! Our favorite pastime was to sit on the porch watching the hummingbirds come to the feeders and look into the uninterrupted mountain views. The home was incredibly clean and perfect for our 2 week stay. The porch wrapped around the entire house and was closed off which made it great for our dog. No worries of him running off! We liked the seclusion. We couldn't see another house. Lots of wineries and we hit as many of them as possible. lol We will definitely visit this cabin again. Located halfway between Ellijay and Blue Ridge made it easy to reach both towns. Thank you Dave for being only a text message away and responding so quickly with any questions we may have had. Love this home!

The owners have spared no expense to make our stay a wonderful week. The views are even better than the pictures. The home is well maintained, and the cleaning crew does an exceptional job. Dave stays in touch and gives you a contact person in case you should need anything. The barbeque is first rate, and the afternoons on the deck with a glass of wine is a perfect setting for a relaxing week. Blueridge is only 8 miles and has all you need for food and supplies. We had to drive 12 miles to Ellijay for our liquor run, but that also was a 15 minute drive. Restaurants were a step back in time with excellent food. It took a couple of days to learn the radios in the bedrooms are Bluetooth, and when we did, they were on the deck, which made the days perfect. Waterfalls, and hiking trails are nearby, but we stayed on the deck most of our stay.

A lovely cabin with plenty of balconies and windows from which to enjoy stunning and amazing mountain range and nature views.

Breathtaking views! We enjoyed the grounds and hot tub immensely. Tip: 99-100 degrees was perfect hot tub temp for us. When we got there it was 104 and that was unbearable.

Place was amazing! Driveway can be intimidating if you have never been in the mountains before. But totally doable.

Viewtopia lives up to its name. My husband and I were there for a long weekend and did not leave the property at all. We watched the sunrises and birds (especially the hummingbirds), listened to the mooing cows, and appreciated not hearing cars nor seeing people. A wonderful rest - and our furry friend loved it, too.

This place is even better in person! The view is stunning. Clean cabin with everything you need. We enjoyed most of our time out on the porch. Would definitely recommend!

I’ve never been big on completing reviews. That said, we had such an amazing vacation at Viewtopia I felt compelled to share it so others can read the review and make a more informed decision. First off the views are beyond amazing, we have stayed in the mountains before and I can say I’ve never seen views like what we saw from Viewtopia. Dave is great to work with and not only answered my questions but provided documents and web links to the various attractions and hiking points of interest we wanted to go to. It was only by chance that I met Dave in person during our stay, based on that brief interaction I felt like I’ve known him for years. I can honestly say this was hands down the best vacation I’ve ever done with my wife and daughter.

Gorgeous views, well stocked kitchen and house. Close to town for grabbing lunch after hiking, etc. Very private, highly recommend.

This vacation rental is amazing! The interior of the home is very roomy and allowed for all 6 of us to have our own space. We spent a lot of time away and exploring but the time we did spend at the house was good quality family time! Couldn’t ask for anything better! Only thing I can say about the view is WOW absolutely amazing, you’ve got to get up early and watch the sunrise and stay up to watch the sunsets! The hot tub at nights under the stars is nice and relaxing! I’ve already recommended this place to some of my co workers!!

This is our second time staying at viewtopia and it’s as beautiful as I remember. Dave is great, prompt communication and even let us check out late so we could take a work meeting before we left.
The view is nothing short of amazing, you won’t want to leave the cabin. The view from the hot tub is equally as great. Definitely worth the drive.

Dave is an awesome host and Viewtopia stands out not just because of the view! The cabin is very clean and homey the bed is very comfortable and so is the couch. The view from the bedroom in particular is something you could get used to waking up to every morning. The hot tub gets really hot and the jets works very well and there are also Bluetooth speakers in the hot tub. The location really stands out because you will pass a few cabins going up the mountain but had you not passed them you would never know they are there- 10/10 recommend Viewtopia!

Viewtopia was a great get away for us and our two pups. The house was well stocked and centrally located to a ton of activities. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets!

Words can not describe how wonderful this getaway was. Communication with Dave and Roxann was on point. They made sure we were all informed before we arrived and during our stay. I was so scared I’d gotten lost after running late and it falling dark on my drive up, but Dave stayed in touch, check in on my progress and walked me through (really rescued me lol) arriving safely with no issues. Easily 5 stars. A peaceful escape after several overbooked months. It felt therapeutic to sit with nature, cook, play board games, hang out in the hot tub, and cozy up by the fire. I stayed at many vacation rentals is this by far the most impressively stocked kitchen and cleanest dishes I’ve encountered. The whole place was spotless. So many tiny well thought out details were present throughout the cabin- like snacks, cozy blankets, conveniently placed cleaning items, bluetooth speakers with instructions, etc.

Don’t think twice about booking viewtopia! Waking up every morning, sipping on a cup of coffee while watching the sun come up while overlooking the beautiful view!! Dave gave us recommendations on things to do locally such as trails, waterfalls, restaurants, etc. Any questions I had was answered with quick responses. We loved our vacation

We loved our stay! My husband and I were joined for Thanksgiving by my mom and brother. Each of us had our own bed/bath on 3 separate floors. Helped everyone feel like they had enough space to step away from family time. The kitchen was well stocked and we did lots of cooking. Everything was very comfortable during our stay. My only complaint is we had to leave!

Super stay. View is amazing. Three levels, bedroom on each floor. Great place to unplug and enjoy the space.

Viewtopia does not disappoint! It’s so secluded and private and just an amazing spot to enjoy some of the most spectacular views. The amenities were our favorite and the host was super communicative and friendly. Within a 20 min drive to nearby Blue Ridge and all it has to offer. Would definitely come back again to Viewtopia!

This was our second time at Viewtopia this year. We originally visited back in the early Spring and immediately rebooked for the Fall because we knew the view would be spectacular. We weren't disappointed. It was fairly cold and drizzly for most of our stay, making the gas fireplace very welcome, but on the last day the sun was out and I took advantage of the Benton MacKaye trail being literally at the road turning onto the mountain. Can't wait to come back for another visit.

The view is even better than expected. I don't believe there is a better one in the area! You are truly "in the mountains." There are no cabins nearby. The silence is so relaxing!
The location is convenient to everything. You are able to avoid the heavy traffic in Blue Ridge during apple season.

This was hands down worth every penny! we chose this as the first stop on our honeymoon and we’re not disappointed. We were able to fully disconnect and just spent quiet time alone and also got to venture around town when we wanted. The view was incredible- easily can see why this is called Viewtopia!

My family and I stayed at Viewtwopia for three nights this past weekend. It was one of the best getaways we have taken as a family. The property is absolutely incredible and the name Viewtopia is much deserving. The cabin (luxury home) was perfect for the 5 adults and our 6-week old daughter. Dave was incredible throughout the entire process and left us with everything we needed to have an excellent trip. We can't wait to get back there again in the near future.

We had a group of six and enjoyed everything about this cabin. The views were absolutely gorgeous. Dave was also very helpful with our activity planning. It was a very relaxing break. Looking forward to a return trip.

The view is AMAZING! Decided to spend my 30th birthday here with my family and the cabin did not disappoint! Woke up every morning to the beautiful mountains and humming birds on the back porch. The cabin is located close by to both Blue ridge and Elijay in which we spent a lot of time in both areas. It was also close to some great hiking spots and waterfalls. If you have never driven up a mountain, I could see the drive being a little scary. I myself did not find it to be bad at all. 10/10 would recommend!!!!

Appropriately named… Viewtopia, is heaven on earth! This is a three level gorgeous home with a bed and full bath on each level with the most beautiful Mountain View’s seen from every window and everyone has their own porch. PERFECT for a couple of families to vacation together. The drive up is bouncy and steep but So worth it!!! Town is only 15-20 mins away but you won’t want to leave once you arrive. We will be back to enjoy this paradise and relaxing home again.

Two words, breath taking! From the minute we pulled up to the cabin we were wowed. The view is amazing! This was the most relaxing vacation I have ever taken. The host created the perfect atmosphere to enjoy the cabin. He checked on us throughout our stay and provided so many useful suggestions and tips before we even arrived.The cabin was really clean. It also had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. It was like staying in a hotel with top notch amenities but 10 times better. We were able to prepare a steak dinner in the fully stocked kitchen. Wash our clothes and towels after soaking in the jacuzzi at night with pods that were provided. Make coffee that was provided and enjoy the sun rise from our balcony. The bed was very comfortable. We slept amazing and woke up to the beautiful view of the mountains, and blue skies. I loved all of the glass windows everywhere. I was able to see the views from almost every room in the cabin. We spotted deer all three days we were there. We also saw fire flies at night. It was just so serene being out in nature. The only thing we probably will do differently next time is rent a truck or something sturdier. Our nissan altima made it safely but we would have made it up much easier in a larger vehicle. Overall this was the best trip ever. I really enjoyed the cabin and can not wait to go back. Thanks Dave for giving us a amazing experience.

Literally felt like we were at. The top of the world during our visit. The climb was worth it from the Mountain View’s, the peace and serenity of waking up each day to looking at the mountains and valley below and having everything we needed at our fingertips. Great amenities, steps to the hot tub and far away, but close enough to everything to make it a true vacation.

When you pull up to the cabin, the view will take your breath away. The cabin is perfect and you don't want to leave it. Dave is so attentive and makes sure your stay is everything you want it to be. We cannot wait to go back and spend even a longer time!

I'm not sure our car (small, 2 wheel drive) could have handled the last half mile or so if the weather had been bad, but fortunately it was lovely, and ultimately it was well worth it.

Dave’s place was amazing! My husband and I rented this cabin for my 30th birthday. Viewtopia is the PERFECT name for this cabin. The views were breathtaking. We sat outside most of the time and soaked in the beautiful mountains. We grilled everyday and really enjoyed the hot tub. The foosball table was also a nice touch! Also fun if you like animals and enjoy deer watching! We had an issue with the air conditioner, reached out to Dave, and he sent someone right away! We were cooled off in less than an hour! Super fast response time on this and all of our other questions and needs. We will definitely will be visiting viewtopia again! Thanks Dave!

Absolutely amazing cabin!! A beautiful view and local to many cute small towns. The hill is a little steep up to the cabin at one point, so if you have a smaller car, just make sure you have good tires and you should be fine. 🙂 Dave went above and beyond and helped us so much. Definitely would recommend this cabin for any trip up to northern Georgia!! We will definitely be back.

This stay is appropriately named because the view is amazing. The day we arrived I messaged the host about extending our stay and mostly because of the view. My new wife and I were staying there alone for our honeymoon so the place was grossly too large for us. We never even went downstairs at all. But for a larger family or a group of friends it would be so perfect to be together but have some separation with all the bedrooms on different levels of the home. The kitchen is nicely stocked with all the utensils and pots and pans needed to cook at home, but there sure is some good food in both Blue Ridge and Ellijay. The drive up the mountain is a climb, but our little Corolla did just fine. Internet is slow, but who cares with all those views and all the outdoor things to do in the area. We've already rebooked to come back in the Fall.

Viewtopia indeed. This place is incredible - you won't want to leave. We had some sunny days and some rainy days - both offering uniquely beautiful sights and sounds. The BMT is just beyond the driveway and the scenic mountain drive is a great preview as you roll in. The house itself is super cozy, stocked with everything you'll need for your stay. The large windows and multiple balconies offer 360 degree views that you'll find it hard to pull away from. Our dog loved the property, the trails, and the local neighborhood dog friends. We'll definitely be back in the future.

This place is a hidden gem... highly recommended!!

I rented the cabin for my elderly parents for a covid friendly getaway with their dog. They house was great for older folks with a bed/bath/kitchen/deck all on main level, and just a few steps into the house. Owner was aware of the situation and was willing to check in on the power and roads before they arrived when a storm went through the night before they’re arrival. Bonus point for having actual toilet paper you’d use at home for the house and tons of extra kitchen bonuses (spices/aluminum foil)! The only thing I’d mention to potential guests is that the water was a little smelly/off tasting, so bring a few gallons of drinking water with you. We will be back as a family soon I hope!

We had a blast at Dave's cabin! Such a beautiful place. The views are amazing! Cabin has a jacuzzi and a nice layout for multiple couples to cook together and lounge around relaxing. Stores are close by 15-20 mins. One of my personal favorite parts was driving up the driveway roads... the girls were scared but after a couple times it was nothing but fun.. You will not be disappointed with this cabin.. we are already planning our next trip back out here. Thanks Dave!

This place is actually perfection. While the drive up the mountain is very intimidating, everything is worth it when you turn the corner and see the cabin and the view. Truly our entire group was speechless. The cabin is gorgeous. The view is stunning. Be mindful that the cabin does have a lot of ladybugs everywhere so you just have to be ok with that. This place is worth every penny.

It’s relatively close to tons of falls and trails and is right down the road from downtown BR. Staying at this cabin was a blast and we definitely plan on coming back.

It’s an easy drive into Blue Ridge, but even better, you can walk to the Benton McKaye trail for a fabulous hike. Even had a neighbor dog guide us for about 2 miles, lol! The hot tub is perfect for star gazing in the cold evening. We’ll be back 🙂

Peaceful, quiet, and one of the best parts about it is written right in the name. Very easy to get to, and had absolutely no issue on the gravel road or driveway leading up to the cabin. Get there during the day if you can, because the view that hits you as you approach the cabin itself is one of the best parts about the experience. We were just as impressed by the quality inside as well, and even took some pictures of a few things we'd like to pick up for our own home. I also didn't realize how close the Benton MacKaye Trail was, but a short walk to the end of the driveway basically puts you right on it. Couldn't have been more convenient, and a really nice hike with great views in the winter when the leaves are off the trees. Dave responded very quickly and was always helpful and knowledgeable which helped make our stay that much more enjoyable. Without a doubt, this will be one of our go-to cabin rental destinations moving forward.

Everything was superb-from the beautifully decorated cabin, the hot tub in the snow, super comfy furniture, and our pooch hanging with us curled up by the fire. It’s hard to put this place into words... I just don’t know how it can be beat. The drive up is scary, yes, but doable! With those views there’s no point in ever leaving. Thanks Dave! We can’t wait to come back.

The view was absolutely incredible!

We had such a memorable Christmas at Viewtopia! The first time you see it and the first sunrise are breathtaking! The drive up the dirt road was a bit scary; I would recommend going a steady 15 mph and don’t stop! Stargazing, the hot tub, sitting on the porch, it was all so serene. The kitchen was very well stocked and we were able to cook meals each day. I definitely recommend this home for some peace and nature! Dave had immediate suggestions and responded always. He was a great host and the property was beautiful!

This cabin was an absolute dream and the only downside was having to leave. The views were just unreal and the bath tub was **chef's kiss**. I highly recommend stocking up on groceries before driving up so you don't have to leave for a while and make sure to check out the sunrise and sunset from the balcony. Also be prepared for a steep, winding drive on the way up! While it was just the two of us on this trip, this cabin would be great for a family or a group of friends to stay. I hope to return soon!

Viewtopia has beautiful scenic views from dawn to dusk. Much thought and attention to detail was taken to make this cabin comfortable, warm and livable. I love the wrap-around deck with the large gate...we left our poodle on the deck, gate closed of course, so he could run around and enjoy the outdoors with fear of loosing him. If you love hiking, hot tubs, the woods, nature, outdoor activities and love coming "home" to a warm, cozy cabin, this is the cabin for you and your family.

The Cabin was amazing and definitely had amazing views! We are planning our next trip already and hope to stay here again. Also, Dave is a great host and super attentive before, during and after!

Viewtopia was an amazing experience. Dave has a beautiful cabin and the views were exceptional. The cabin was spotless and had everything we needed and more. It was also a short drive to downtown Blue Ridge and Elijay. The cabin is perfect for anyone looking for a romantic getaway! Dave was a great host and provided great directions and tips for things to do in the area. We will definitely be looking to return!

I’m sorry there’s not a 6 star review !! We always defer to superhosts when we book and Dave is an mvp. We had snow in the forecast so temps were below freezing and Dave figured this into our stay and it was awesome . I will say that the drive up the mountain was the beginning of our grand adventure and one of the best experiences ever . There are so many useful instructions in the cabin that your questions are answered before you can think of them and that was a plus for sure “viewtopia will see is again !

Best view out of any cabin I’ve stayed in, in... period. The cabin itself was new, well kept, beautifully decorated and with every necessity. The awesome bluetooth speakers in the living room sounded great. We used the hot tub both nights and it was wonderful. We played hours of foosball, cooked a couple of fabulous meals and enjoyed the sunsets in the evening. Even better, it was dog friendly and boy did he love it too. It’s awesome that the house is so high on the mountain and that the property borders a national forest. Thanks so much Dave. I’ve never rented the same cabin twice, this place will be an exception

We enjoyed a 3 night stay at Viewtopia and it was everything we had hoped for. The road/driveway was very easily accessible, we have a truck (No 4 wheel drive) and the view as you pull into the driveway is breathtaking. The cabin is amazing, and felt like home. You should wake up early and watch the sunrise on one of the 2 balconies! Dave was a great host touching base with us to ensure a great stay. You are 15 minutes away from downtown Blue Ridge, while you are down there, you should check out Blue Ridge Ziplining!

Can’t praise Viewtopia enough. The photos looked stunning but it was even better in person. With demanding jobs and 3 children, nature is where my husband and I recharge and boy did this place deliver. The whole area is restorative and felt magical. Viewtopia feels like you have the entire mountain to yourself, but an easy drive to town (if that’s your thing). For us, we started each morning with coffee on the balcony, then a hike either onsite (property connects to the BMT) or drove to others, then back to the cabin to relax in the hot tub and grill dinner. Cabin had everything we needed and was super clean. We are already planning to return!

Viewtopia exceeded our expectations. The views were incredible and the place was perfect for a weekend getaway. The host Dave was quick with responses and even made sure we had ESPN for Saturday game day. From coffee on the wrap around porch to soaks in the hot tub, such a perfect relaxing weekend, the pictures do not do it justice.

Viewtopia is one of the best vacation rental properties we have experienced. Our party included two adults, two high school boys, and a dog. We stayed for 12 nights in June-July 2020. Viewtopia has the best views we’ve seen in Georgia or North Carolina - unspoiled and unobstructed. From the main deck, Bushyhead is close by to the left of center. To the extreme left there is an extended view to the area north of Blue Ridge. Straight out, the southeast view is layered with three distinct ridges receding to the horizon. It changes hourly, sometimes minute by minute. We never tired of it. The photos on the listing are great, but they don’t capture it. There are six rocking chairs and a picnic table on the main level deck, plus two chairs on the private deck off the master bedroom. All of us spent time on the decks reading or just watching the view change. We had most meals at the picnic table. There are two hummingbird feeders and they were visited often, even when we were sitting only a few feet away. The house was very comfortable for four people. All the beds were great. Heavy drapes can block out the morning light if necessary. Three full baths were spotless. The main living area has a sofa with ample room for three and a large armchair. There are stereo Bluetooth speakers. The game room on the lower level has a futon sofa and a big TV (great for teens), along with its own full kitchen. The primary kitchen is well stocked. We cooked at “home” more often than we typically would on vacation because of the pandemic. There was plenty of cookware, implements, and serving items. There is a large grill on the deck, which we used several times. A feature not played up in the listing — the deck goes completely around the house and has a single gate that can be securely closed with a latch. We were able to let our dog roam out to the deck and lounge in the sun knowing he would not disappear into the woods! One of our party used the hot tub nearly every day. It has almost the same view as the deck. The house is well managed. Dave provided lots of information before our rental, including turn by turn directions with photos for the last mile. They really go that extra step. This is a well maintained property. Two items that are useful to know. (1) The private access road is gravel (common in this part of Georgia) with one particularly steep section that was difficult to navigate in our rental minivan (with admittedly aging front tires). We wished we rented an SUV. Dave mentioned that they’ve had cars as diverse as a Porsche Panamera and a Prius access the house, and I don’t doubt it. But driving to this house requires more attention than usual. (2) The wireless internet is slow, at well under 1 megabit per second. We relied on our phone hotspots for data. Both Verizon and AT&T wireless had good coverage. This was important to us as my spouse needed to work and the house internet would have been a problem if we did not have good cellular data. This is a house we would recommend to family and friends.

Spectacular view, comfortable cabin, perfect wkend getaway. Especially enjoyed watching the hummingbirds on the porch, curling up in front of the gas fireplace, exploring the area with Dave's excellent recommendations.

My family and I spent 4 nights at Viewtopia and it was absolutely spectacular! The views are even better than we expected! Dave was very informative and whenever we had a question he responded almost immediately. When at the cabin, it feels like you are the only one on the mountain and it is peaceful and picturesque, with hummingbirds always flying around out back. We couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more and hope to return.

Wow what can I say this place was amazing. It looks awesome from the pictures but is even more beautiful in person. The amount of thoughtful touches Dave put in place blew my mind. As someone who's stayed in a lot of airbnb's having everything labeled and an actually stocked kitchen was so nice. The view is KILLER! We saw widelife including a black bear all from the back porch where we spent a lot of time. Our dog loved the wrap around patio that locks at the front giving him the freedom to roam and soak it in with us. The beds are comfy the water is hot and you have everything you need to unwind and relax. Games on the patio, grilling out and soaking in the view were out favorite times. We cannot wait to go back. Blue Ridge also seems amazing but we didn't venture out too much because of Covid but if you come make sure to check out the apple farm and the Rum Cake lady! Thanks again Dave!

Breathtaking location! Truly 180+ degree views. Fairly steep road getting up to the house (probably a prerequisite for getting these views). Made me nervous at first but all was well, even in the rain. 4wd would be great but our 2wd SUV was fine. Host has thought of everything, and little things like sugar packets, coffee creamer, and foil make a big difference. It was just two of us in a house that holds 8, but I was nice and cozy. Easy trip into blue ridge with a scenic drive. Highly recommend the Blue Ridge train!

This property is definitely one of a kind and I was absolutely floored on how amazing it was from the minute we pulled in to the drive way in front of the garage, breathtaking! The property itself is well kept and all of our guests that stayed or came to visit was very impressed. We have stayed at a few cabins in the area over the years, but I think we will stop looking and keep coming back to this one over and over again.

The view is even better in person. The place is spacious and has everything you need. Directions were accurate and there are signs with arrows indicating where you should go. Would go back!

Things that are great about Viewtopia: View Deck Jacuzzi Dave’s hospitality Trail just down the driveway Recommendations & Things To Know: The Black Sheep restaurant in Blue Ridge: great wine, service and food; especially the lamb chops. Chateau Meichtry Winery Mountain Valley Farms for local meat was recommended to us but we didn’t make it there before they closed.

We still talk about the view from this wonderful home on the mountain!!! The view was definitely the hit and we know, it will be hard to beat somewhere else. Waking up to it, or just enjoying the view while grilling or in the hot-tub was amazing. The home was specious, clean and had a nice flow. The kitchen was very well equipped too. But what really stood out compared to other locations, was how the host was always very responsive giving us good tips and answering all our questions prior and during our stay. We will definitely return!!!

This listing was incredible!! It was even better than described. Compared to other cabins we have stayed in this listing had the best view and also the easiest path for reaching it. The road was paved most of the way and even when it wasn't there was enough payment to help get you started up a hill, which is much more than I can say for other cabin we have stayed in. We had so many great mornings and evenings eating meals on the porch looking at the mountains as the sun rose and set. Highly recommend this listing for anyone looking for a quiet, picturesque, and comfortable mountain getaway.

Viewtopia is truly beautiful. The view will take your breath away, I had the pleasure of staying there while the moon was full and seeing the moon rise over the mountains is something that I will never forget. The cabin is stocked with everything you need, including flashlights! The deck is entirely enclosed by a gate in front so if you bring a four legged family member they are able to roam on the deck! The beds are comfortable and also have amazing views of the mountains! I hope to come back when Covid is no longer an issue to explore more of the surrounding areas and restaurants etc. Thanks to Dave and the beauty of Viewtopia for a much needed mini vacation!!!

Our stay at Viewtopia was truly outstanding, and Dave’s hospitality, communication, and helpfulness was tremendous. The cabin itself is simply gorgeous inside and out. I researched hundreds of cabins in North Georgia, and one thing I loved about Viewtopia was that it not only has a stunning view of the mountains but is also so beautifully landscaped. Many similar cabins are only surrounded by gravel, but Viewtopia had such beautiful landscaping, grass, flower bushes, and scenery around the grounds. We enjoyed sitting in the swing and just relaxing around so much visual beauty. We also loved watching the hummingbirds come to the feeders hanging from the porch... they came often and were very entertaining. The cabin was stocked with all the basics, and we had everything we needed. It was also sparkling clean, and the housekeeper does an amazing job! We hope to return again in the future. It was a memorable vacation time together as a family. I’m not sure any other cabin in North Georgia can top Viewtopia. It is pretty much the complete package! I can not recommend it highly enough.

A wonderful getaway for my daughter's birthday. The cabin is easy to find, comfortable, and there is plenty of beauty to enjoy. All the rental steps were easy and the owner was friendly and accommodating when I had to make a last minute changes to my guest list. We all had a wonderful time and took advantage of the adventures nearby such as rafting the Ocoee and going to the swinging bridge at the Toccoa river. Highly recommend this property.

We would truly give 10 stars if we could. This far exceeded our expectations. Even in rain and fog at times, the views were still amazing. Such a perfect secluded mountain cabin, and we can’t wait to revisit.

This property is, by far, the best mountain rental we have ever stayed in! The house is designed, constructed and maintained very well. All of the three levels have magnificent views, and the grounds are beautiful, which is a first for us. We wished there were televisions in the bedrooms but that was a small deal in the grand scope of things. Fantastic time for all!

This cabin is everything you could want. Ive stayed at many cabins in the past but this was my favorite! The view is amazing for every side of the cabin. There is very comfortable couches and beds and everything was very clean! The hot tub view was something to behold as well. I brought my pups with me and that was definitely a perk. They felt right at home. This place is definitely kept up and taken care of. I had no issues the entire trip and the manager made sure to send a message offering any kind of assistance if need be. The gas fireplace was amazing...push to start and you're night just got a little more cozy. I hope to rent this place again in the future. Thanks David!

My sister and I stayed at Viewtopia for 3 nights. It was the most amazing trip we have ever taken. First time seeing mountains let alone driving on them. The views are everything. Waking up in the morning to the crisp mountain views, walking out on the deck and having a cup of coffee. I cant wait to come back.

You can expect a clean and cozy cabin with absolutely stunning mountain scenery. The cabin is a great size and can easily accommodate 6 people. Loved the style and touches throughout the cabin and Dave made it super easy to find the cabin and inform us of things to do in the area. The only negative thing I would have to say is bring your own coffee (there were filters) and cooking oil. Everything else was fantastic!

The view is better than the pictures can convey! It was a great place for me and my two coworkers who needed a quick getaway from our stressful work life. We all had our own room and bathroom which made things easier and the cabin provided a few games and foosball (which I’ve learned can get intense lol). Downtown blue ridge isn’t too far, which is the most charming little area with some great local shops. It is a pretty steep drive up the mountain but we were able to make it in a tiny little Honda Fit without any issues. I do think that next time we’ll rent a 4wd vehicle just to be on the safe side.

If you're looking for a place in the mountains look no further than Viewtopia! The cabin was amazing and every room exceeded our expectations (big comfy beds, nice towels, clean). The views are truly incredible and we loved cooking in the well-appointed kitchen. My friends and I are already talking about returning next year. Dave was a great host and was very accommodating of all of our requests.

We go to Blue Ridge frequently and this is one of the best places we have stayed. The views are unbelievable.

The cabin is beautiful and very clean. It is very private and perfect if you just want to relax in a quiet space. The beds are super comfortable and cozy. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the equipment you could need. The furniture was nice and comfortable. The hot tub was very clean and worked well. The bedrooms are on different floors, so if you come with a group everyone can have their own space. The porches are a great place to sit and enjoy the view. We were there over New Years and were able to see fireworks in the distance. The views are STUNNING. You really couldn't ask for more. While the cabin is well worth it, if you are an inexperienced mountain driver or an anxious driver in general be aware that the drive is steep and twisty partially on a gravel road. We were fine in our all wheel drive vehicle.

Great views and wonderful cabin; everything you could need to move in and stay for days without leaving! Definitely want a four wheel drive car or a good sense of adventure to drive the last quarter mile on the curves and steep incline but it’s the trade off for amazing views and the road is mostly paved, adding some confidence to the drive!

Great place to escape away from civilization without leaving the comfort of a well equipped cabin, highly recommended not only the place and the cabin but Dave the host who was awesome with his attention to detail and with fast and clear communication.

The pictures don’t do this cabin justice. Love the personal touches like the wine and bag of goodies as a welcoming gift. Dave was very responsive. Me and my family were in awe of how beautiful and how welcoming this cabin was. Will definitely be staying here again!!!!!

Stop looking for a better view than this! You have found the best view for sunsets, moonrises and everything in between! Linens are nice and beds are comfy so you will also rest well here. The whole place is very private and quiet and it’s really just you, the birds and the bears (which we didn’t see but saw evidence of) at the top of the mountain! If you enjoy taking photos, you will find endless photo ops here. We also enjoyed being in the treetops with the birds for watching their behavior at higher elevations. Buy some groceries and settle in because you probably won’t want to leave for morning coffee and breakfast as the sunrises were spectacular. We cooked meals easily in the kitchen as it was well appointed and the appliances were nicer than what we have at home. Our favorite spot was the living/dining/kitchen room on the main floor in front of the fireplace and mantle. Loved the remote controlled fireplace and candles. We also had a fun movie night downstairs and enjoyed playing foosball. The view from the loft bedroom is the highest in the house and unique, but there is no bad view from any bedroom here. Even the upstairs bathrooms have a pretty view. It was just me, my husband and our dog this trip, but there was plenty of space for a larger group to spread out and not be in each other’s way outside or inside. We didn’t get to use the brand new hot tub (which looked so nice) due to a bear destroying the cover before we arrived and a plumbing leak prevented us from using the 3rd floor jetted tub, but don’t let those things dissuade you from staying here as everything else is perfect and based on how hospitable and seriously Dave takes his job as host, I’m sure these issues are already resolved. There is also a great cabin info book with tips on attractions and the history of the area that I found interesting during our stay.
