Dave’s home was lovely. There was just me and my husband but we were impressed with how well appointed it was. This would be the perfect spot for a family gathering or reunion. It was very quiet and perfect for a relaxing getaway!

We had a great experience with Dave! He was extremely responsive and went above and beyond to make sure everything was going perfect for us. Property was well-kept and the house was huge! Very quiet and peaceful area for humans and pups! Great fenced in area in the back for pups when it gets dark out! Couldn’t have had a better all around experience! Dave is the most gracious of hosts…saw to our every need! And the place was exceptional! The grandkids were never bored and the home was spacious and well equipped! I would 100% go there again!

What a great place to relax! We love renting from CBR! Dave is always super responsive and attentive, but never intrusive! This property truly offers the best of everything. Spacious for family time. We stay in for most meals on vacation, and the kitchen is well-stocked and user friendly. Ample bedrooms and bathrooms. While the house is great, the outdoor spaces truly offer the peace we seek on vacation. The stocked pond, the large flowing creek, the fire pit, the front porch with rocking chairs, and the back deck were all places we relaxed. We brought beach chairs that served as creek chairs this week. It was great to feel that cold flowing water on the hot days. The Ping-Pong table in the garage got a good workout, too. Morning walks with the fur baby as the woods were waking up was a great way to start the day. Evening walks as a family to the creek were a great way to end the day. So many things to love about this property! Dave, thank you for being a great host!

Another year, another great stay. Heaven on the waterfront is exactly as the name describes. It is such a wonderful place to get away and spend time with family. The kitchen is fully stocked. The creek is amazing. Book it! You won't regret it!

The cabin was great for us, it had all the things we were needing to do and was nice and quiet without the worry of other tourists. The pond out front was nice and fire pit was nice. Had a nice open area and was good for spending time together. Beds werent the best but not bad either.Drive out there is a bit far from both towns but worth it.

Amazing property to relax and enjoy the quiet. The location was great for day outings in the area. We slept well to the music of the woods and bullfrogs all night.

Our family of four (plus our pet!) stayed at Heaven in Waterfront for three nights, and it was such a peaceful and restful getaway. We spent a lot of time fishing at the pond and creek—my husband caught 9 trout, and I caught 2! The pond fish were a little smarter, but I still managed to catch one.
The kids had an amazing time, and our four‑legged son, Sky, absolutely loved the fenced backyard. It was so nice to relax and enjoy nature without the crowds. If you’re looking to unplug and truly unwind, this is the perfect place to go. Highly recommend!

Exceptional property and management! Our family, including 2 pups, totally enjoyed a short spring break visit here. It seemed very peaceful, had everything we needed and lots of extras - comfortable beds and seating, nice water pressure for showers, kitchen well equipped, nice grill, wonderful hot tub, pond and stream with firepit were great, fenced area for the dogs, fun ping pong table. All exceeded our expectations. We only left for a few excursions - Mercier Orchards for one and some of our group went for atv riding (Blue Ridge Offroad Adventures) which they enjoyed despite cold wet weather that day. We would definitely like to return, maybe in the summer!

This was my third stay with celebrate blue ridge. Heaven on the waterfront is perfect for a relaxing stay feeding the fish in the pond, exploring the yard and enjoying the flowing creek. It is secluded, but close enough to explore other quaint towns in the area. There is a fenced in area in the back yard for your dogs to enjoy while you cook on the grill or enjoy the hot tub. I will return for sure. Dave is very responsive to all questions, and the directions provided will lead you right there.

This house has everything! Fire pit on the creek, porch overlooking pond, large kitchen with everything you could possibly need, fun games, and hot tub. Great if you love being outside or inside. Plus close to Blue Ridge and hiking. Owner responds quickly to questions! Highly recommend!

Booked this property for a family Christmas get a way. It was ideal for a family gathering. The house met all expectations detailed in the description. The kitchen was one of the best I've experienced for a rental. The grounds make it a special place with the pond and the creek right out your back door. We will definitely book this place again!

We had so much fun over Thanksgiving at Heaven on the Waterfront. It was the perfect location with tons to do! The house was perfectly clean and stocked and the managers were extremely responsive.

This was a great cabin with lots of amenities to keep you entertained. It had a nice little pond right off the front porch that we saw bass, bluegills and some frogs which was great to sit by and have morning coffee. Short walk to the creek with cars and a firepit we used in the evenings. There was a ping pong table and ladder toss game in the garage with some excercise machines. There was a fenced in area in the back for our 2 dogs that enjoyed it. It was a short drive to downtown Blue Ridge and Mercier Orchards. It was clean and you felt tucked away in the woods. We saw deer every morning and evening. Great communication from the owner, Dave. He was quick to respond to any questions. We would definitely stay here again.

This cabin was nice and secluded. It had a small manmade pond and a creek that was past that with a small fire pit area. It was a really nice getaway not too far from BlueRidge. You do have to drive down some tight windy roads and 1/2 mile on a gravel road, but that’s north Georgia for you.

House was exactly as advertised. Very nice and perfect for our family of nine. Only issue we had was maneuvering a wheel-chaired person into a bathroom but that was on us not the property. We will return in the future.

This is the perfect place to get away from the busy world. Plenty of space in the home. Kitchen is stocked with everything you would need. My dog absolutely loved the property and the creek. We put on waders and caught tons of trout in the creek as well. It is a perfect getaway.

Dave (the host) was absolutely amazing. Very accomodating and super communicative. The place is unreal. A pond out the front door with fish and turtles, the river/ creek just in the other side with an awesome fire pit chairs and picnic table. Many many perks: huge walk in shower, jaccuzi tub: sandly didn't have time for , amazing hot tub on back deck, fabulous out door kitchen, nice propane grill, coffee bar, and get this ladies everything you need to cook a nice meal, air fryer, wisk, potatoe peeler, mixer, food processor, crock pot, just to name a few things i don't normally see in a rental. This place was well stocked. I loved the stove and the sink, dishwasher was a plus. A beautiful huge dining table, excellent wifi for those few work moments i had to attend to. Seperate living room up stairs. Studio appartment above the garage, had its own bath, fridge sink area. Garage had ping pong, exercise bike, ski thingy, plus another fridge. The beds were comfy. So close to Walmart, ingles, apple picking, train ride and more. This was such an amazing birthday. I really wish i could have stayed longer. It was really wonderful.

The property was beautifully and peacefully surrounded by nature. Very spacious inside and out with a kitchen that was more than equipped to plan any meal. Dave was also very helpful to make sure my stay was as expected. Would love to come back for another getaway in the future.

This place was awsome!! Perfect for a family of 6. The pond lived up to the hype! All 6 of us caught a fish in it, most being decent sized bluegill. My son even caught 2 bass! ( P.S. we used live worms.) The only thing we disliked was the beds; they were noisy and uncomfortable. But overall awesome experience.

Our stay at Heaven on the waterfront was everything described and more! This was a 4 generation girls' trip for my mother's 74th birthday. Perfect for my Mom who loves to fish and perfect for my Granddaughters to tube and play in the creek! We will plan another trip here with more of the family because there is plenty of space and things to do!

This is our fourth year vacationing at Heaven on the Waterfront. It is such a relaxing and beautiful property that isn't far from anything you might want to do. We floated the Toccoa and rode the Scenic Railway to McCaysville and Copperhill. We also picked berries at Mercier Orchard. The kiddos spent time in the creek and fed the fish. The kitchen is well stocked with anything you might need while making a meal for the family. As always, we highly recommend Heaven on the Waterfront and will be booking our stay for next year!

Enjoyed all the house had to offer. Very relaxing and very informative. Enjoyed hiking, fishing, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, and zip lining.

Spent a full week here and had everything we needed for the entire week and always had something to do even on rainy days. Very private and secluded but easy to get into Blue Ridge. The host was very thoughtful and very responsive. Would recommend this place to anyone. Getting yourself some travel hammocks and enjoying them down by the creek is a must! Couldn’t be happier with our stay. Very dog friendly as well.

Great place to get away for a ling anniversary weekend. There are two visible neighbors, but it does not take away from the peaceful and relaxing feel of Heaven on the Waterfront. The pond and the creek both offer relaxing water sounds. Perfect mornings with coffee on the large front porch or the dock. Quiet mornings or afternoons of fishing.My husband and I and our two dogs loved this spot. Also plenty of room for a larger family, and we may plan a trip back with extrnded family.Close enough to Blueridge and Ellijay, or perfect to stay and retreat from it all for a few days.Property owner was easy to communicate with and even reached out to alert us to pending bad weather with tips to make sure we were comfortable in case power went out.Overall a great experience and we would definitely go back and recommend to anyone we know headed to the Blueridge/Ellijay area.

This is our 2nd time at this home. We absolutely love it! It has everything! It’s so comfortable and welcoming. We love to cook and the kitchen has everything we needed plus an amazing 6 burner stove. We really appreciated that there was plenty of fire wood for us to use in the fire pit by the creek. The outdoor area is so relaxing and beautiful. We enjoyed sitting on the porch looking at the pond while we had coffee. The owner does everything to make this a very special stay from leaving us coffee to welcome treats when we arrived. Look forward to returning!

Dave’s cabin is AWESOME!! We loved how much space there was and the privacy. Only 25 mins to both Blue Ridge and Elijay. Apple phone to us directly to the cabin but Dave’s directions was nice to have. We grilled on the back porch every night and spent the majority of our time down at the river or pond. We will definitely be back in the spring time.

This is a hidden gem in the mountains not far fromElijay & Blue Ridge! Beautiful and secluded! Plenty of room to roam! At night the lights on the wrap around porch and pond are lit up and you can see them from the fire pit down by the stream while roasting marshmallows for s’mores! Kids enjoyed playing inside too! Huge upstairs closet and little tv room tucked away that was cool for them! Bedroom above the garage has its own fridge and sink if you have someone that wants a little privacy. Highly recommended! Dave made it seamless to book this incredible cabin for our family getaway making memories! Don’t miss out on this one!

Just what we needed, the rental was decorated very nicely, spacious, and great for the pups to roam around, the fenced in back yard was wonderful and you could walk to the creek and roast s'mores right by i, the creek is on the property in the yard.. The porch and view was wonderful and peaceful to sit on surrounded by nature. The grandkids enjoyed the creek and the hot tub. Well supplied kitchen and comfortable beds.. I didn't have trouble finding the place personally and no trouble on the roads but if you are not familiar with the way that back roads work in the mountains make sure to follow the off line directions precisely and you will find your way no problem. Lots of stores and stuff near by. Would stay again.

It was beautiful to wake up every morning with a pond in your front yard. My husband and I loved that it was off the beaten path and had space to explore. Though you're on 4 acres there are neighbors (other air bnb) a little closer than we expected but everyone was quiet and respectful of others in the area. Dave was always quick to respond and willing to help in any way. My husband and I had a concern with some cleaning but Dave immediately addressed it and made sure we were happy.
You're not far from Blue Ridge where you can enjoy a beautiful train ride to a Ga/Tn border, as well as shopping and food!
If you're a nature lover this is the spot with plenty of views and nature to soak in!

Dave's place was absolutely amazing. It was secluded, quiet and beautiful. The creek & pond were peaceful. We had a great time fishing, caught Catfish, Bass and Brim. Hot tub was amazing & relaxing. We had everything that we needed. Dave's house is clean, well kept and very accommodating. Kitchen & bathrooms well stocked . Complimentary wine & snacks was a fantastic surprise to celebrate our anniversary. We will definitely be back with our kids & grands!!

We stayed for the first time last year and decided to make it a yearly vacation. The house has everything needed to cook our meals and the property is wonderful. We loved spending time with our grandboys playing in the creek and feeding the fish in the pond. Downtown Blue Ridge isn't very far away and we float the Toccoa every year. We highly recommend this property for a great family vacation!

What a relaxing time! Dave’s place was so peaceful yet playful.. We had a blast catching fish in the pond, cooling off in the stream, eating lots of food prepared at the outdoor kitchen and hot tub time. We were surprised & pleased the back yard had a fence. The beds were very comfortable and the porch has nice rockers to lounge in and view passing deer. We loved the place so much we decided to stay an extra night! Dave was easy to communicate with and responded quickly. Make sure you arrive during daylight as the instructions for check in states especially if you are used to straight flat roads such as in Florida! We had a wonderful time and hope to do it again!

Make sure you bring plenty of groceries because you won't want to leave! wish there was more garbage bins for the final clean up though. it stressed me out hoping we cleaned up right. the location was awesome though and my party of 7 had the best time there.

Beautiful location with privacy and seclusion great for family vacations. In between Ellijay and Blue Ridge there was always something to do- not that we needed it because there were so many amenities at the house.

We stayed for a long weekend. The house was great and clean. The pond and creek were great. I even fell a sleep down by the creek one afternoon. Elijay and Blue ridge are about 20 minutes away. Owner was great and very responsive.

We had a great stay! Very attentive host. Couldn’t figure out how to get the gas fireplace going. Contacted owner and he took care of getting it going quickly. The cabin is stocked with everything we needed for each meal we made. We especially enjoyed the fire pit by the creek!

We had a great time! There were 6 adults and 3 young children plus a couple pups. We felt we had plenty of space and everything we needed. The outdoor space is beautiful and it was so relaxing.

We just wanted a long weekend right after Thanksgiving & chose this place. I have to say the kitchen was the best! Everything you needed! I have stayed at a lot of places and there is never enough plates, silverware, pans, bowls. Everything you need was here. I used the grill to cook the kids hotdogs, it lit right up and we cleaned it right after! Washer & dryer worked excellent! (Bring soap) The kids loved the place and the sound of the creek was amazing. We tried to fish & it didn’t work out. There is literally ONE small thing I would change, & it’s minor which is the quality of sheets lol. I am a sheet SNOB, 800 thread count lol. The beds were nice, everything was great. He took us at the last minute and was it worth the trip! Be careful driving around the mountain roads the locals drive FAST. One car went off the side. During which we were in trouble needing another way to the cabin & Dave responded so fast. We went to Blue Ridge, and to dinner. I would say rent this one 100%

We enjoyed our stay at Dave’s cabin! The location itself was very peaceful and I really enjoyed all the beauty in the nature around it. Getting there was a little difficult because we arrived in the dark, but Dave gave us detailed directions prior to arrival which helped a ton. As to fishing in the pond, I wouldn’t even bother. There are maybe 5 tiny fish in the entire pond. Also, we had issues with the fireplace one night but one of the property managers actually came by the following night to fix it. Dave and Roxanne were both so helpful and quick to respond. Overall I would say great hosts and beautiful piece of land. The cabin itself is a little older and could definitely use a little more fixing up.

However, walmart supercenter is open 24 hours.

My family and I had an absolute blast over the holiday weekend. I have 2 kids, ages 11 and 6, they spent the entire time fishing in the pond and playing in the river. Our dog also loved loved every minute we were there. We've stayed at a lot of rentals and this was by far the most furnished home we've stayed in. Especially in the kitchen, it made making dinner each night very easy. We will definitely be returning in the future.

We all absolutely loved Heaven on the Waterfront! What a beautiful home with everything we could have possibly wanted in a rental - very roomy and comfortable. We especially loved the porch with all the rocking chairs overlooking the pond where we could listen to the creek, as well as the chairs down by the creek. We enjoyed fishing in both the creek and the pond and caught several fish (catch and release). We enjoyed it so much, we never went into Blue Ridge or Elijay. Everyone said it was the perfect getaway - we only wish we could have stayed longer! Can't wait to return. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Our kids enjoyed the pond and fishing! Although the weather didn’t cooperate, we still made the best of it. The cabin was spacious and we enjoyed the porches, table tennis, and the fenced yard for the dog!

My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary this weekend, and we wanted to find a place that was secluded, large enough to house our family members who joined us on the trip, and of course, relaxing. Dave's cabin checked all of our boxes and then some, lol.

Dave is a great host and easy to reach if necessary. I would certainly recommend giving strong consideration to using his cabin if it's available if you're looking for a place to stay in that area. You will not be disappointed with your visit.

My wife and I had an amazing time at Heaven on the Waterfront. It was just the 2 of us in this big, beautiful cabin. It could not have been more perfect.
First of all, when you first pull up to the property, you are in awe of its beauty. It is surrounded by tree covered mountains and there is a beautiful pond in front of the cabin.
The property is clean and inviting. The cabin itself is gorgeous. High end appliances in the kitchen. We were amazed how much room is in this cabin! It was just the 2 of us but would easily accommodate our entire family and possibly even multiple families, depending on sleeping arrangements.

What I was most impressed with were the small touches. There was a nice welcome basket on the table when we arrived... with a bottle of red wine and some various snacks. The cabin had pretty much everything we needed... even down to small details like ziplock bags, and plastic wrap. It was stocked like you would stock your own home.
There were 2 coffee makers, one traditional and one Keurig... and a nice selection of Keurig coffee pods complimentary. They even had a brand new bag of Lavazza ground coffee for the standard coffee pot as well!
The large wraparound porch on the front was amazing. We sat out there often, just enjoying the view. The pond was gorgeous and it even has a water feature to it that just added to the ambience. Behind the pond is Fightingtown Creek which is a larger, rapidly moving creek. The sound of it in the background was so relaxing.
The back deck was incredible as well. It has a covered area with grill and fish cleaning station. And it has an amazing hot tub that we enjoyed often!
And one of the best features as well was a fenced-in backyard for our pups. We had 2 little King Charles Cavalier spaniels with us and that fenced yard was so handy! They should certainly advertise the fenced yard in their description as it is a big deal to most dog owners!

And fishing... if you are a fisherman, this place is amazing! Pretty much every morning, I went out with my cup of coffee, sat on the dock and fished for bass and sunfish. I caught some really good-sized largemouth bass... and a couple of the sunfish were as big (if not heavier) than the bass! I had an incredible time fishing there. Also, there are supposedly some good trout in Fightingtown Creek, but I didn't have as much luck in there. Not to worry, though because I went down to Tammen Park in Blue Ridge, on the Toccoa River and caught a bunch of rainbow and brown trout with both my spinning reel and fly fishing rods.
The initial drive to the cabin is a little intimidating. Small, windy roads and the last mile or 2 of the drive is on a one lane dirt road that winds beautifully along Fightingtown Creek. However, after driving it a few times, it was not really intimidating at all. It was almost exactly 20 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge. Easy drive.
The listing says that navigation will lead you astray. I used my iPhone navigation and it was dead on... until the last 500 feet, where it tries to take you down a driveway just before your actual driveway, but there are signs at that point, pointing you in the right direction. Cell service is spotty there but the wi-fi in the house was excellent. Had a mesh wi-fi system and I could get wi-fi connection all the way down to the creek!

There were only a couple of cons but they were SO minor on the scale of things:
1) Bed was only so-so comfortable (1st floor master). A new mattress or even a mattress topper would be an improvement. My wife also wished for a fluffy down comforter.
2) One lane road going in will make some people uncomfortable but if you go slow enough and pay attention, it's really not that bad. You definitely do NOT need a 4x4 to get there.

Overall, we couldn't have been happier. I've only touched the surface of how many amazing things this cabin has... otherwise this review would be 10 pages long! The overall experience was one of my favorite cabin rentals ever (and we've rented multiple cabins in the Blue Ridge area over the years). We will definitely be back!!

Spent Easter weekend at Dave's place and it rained almost the entire time :(.

Fortunately, we had this beautiful cabin to enjoy the rest and relaxation that only a rainy weekend can bring. The fenced in backyard was a huge bonus so we didn't even have to put any effort into letting the dogs do their business. My wife and I loved the modern kitchen and the massive shower in the master bathroom. The kids loved going down to the creek to hunt for "crystals" and the bonus room over the garage made them feel like they had a place of their own.

Made our way to downtown Blue Ridge on Saturday where my wife and daughter went shopping and my boys and I hit the arcade/mini golf place right off the strip. Most of the time though, we were content to sit on the porch rocking chairs and listen to the rain fall on the pond.

We loved our weekend stay at the Waterfront! This home was very well stocked, clean, and prepared for our family to really be able to relax and unwind! The beauty of the landscape was as well amazing and a very much peaceful setting. Spend the days enjoying nature, fishing, hiking, playing in creek, and also unwind in the hot tub. I would recommend this home for your getaway 6 out of 5! The host was very helpful and replied in a very timely manner.

I was looking to take my family someplace quiet where we could disconnect, decompress, and enjoy each others company for Spring Break, and this place did not disappoint! The house was clean and well furnished, and the outdoor space couldn’t have been more ideal. It was private, serene, and breathtakingly beautiful! Dave was great! He was responsive, helpful, and provided a ton of useful area information. I would absolutely recommend and look forward to returning in the future!

This cabin was PERFECT!! The Host was very attentive and responded to all questions fast. The cabin and the view was outstanding. Defiantly 10 STARS!! Loved everything about the cabin!!! Thanks to Dave. Book this cabin you won’t regret anything!!!

Knew the moment we saw the dog treats left for our dog that the owner of the home cared! So many little touches, like having firewood sitting by the pit next to the creek. Amazing hearing the crackling of the fire and roaring of the rushing creek. The ambiance was amazing! They even drain the hot tub between guests! Would definitely stay here again!

Dave was a great host, the cabin and property was put together so well, the decking was beautiful and easily accessible from any point. The pond is small but nice to see. I wish the property was more secluded, but the price and drive was more than worth it. Dave took great care of us and was extremely responsive on all fronts. 10/10 would rent again

I drove up and was greeted by a family of deer. There is absolutely a ton of space here and everyone felt like we could be together when we wanted and take a nap away from noise if we wanted as well. There are more than enough pots and pans and dishes. I wish the game room had some form of heat (it was 2 degrees while here) but the the views are beautiful and offers all the peace and quit you need.

We absolutely love this area & loved the cabin , the pond, the Creek! Loved where it is at, the location. Loved the stove as we love to cook! Loved getting in the hot tub in the morning with coffee & watching the deer everyday! ❤️❤️❤️

We had a great 5 Star stay at the property. The home is well appointed with cozy spaces for the entire family to spread out. We enjoyed the outdoor spaces as well, and the firepit by the creek was perfect to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals for the entire family. Dave was a great communicator and was very responsive to last minute requests. We look forward to our next stay here.

My family and doggies loved our stay at Heaven on the Waterfront. The location and grounds are absolutely beautiful. You couldn't ask for a better creek! The kitchen had all the equipment needed to make you feel at home. Communication with the property manager was great, just be warned that cell service is definitely spotty at the cabin! I would love to return one day in the warmer months.

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin for so many reasons! This cabin space was great as there is ample space for your group to gather together or space to be separate when needed. The bedrooms are all a great size and we loved that two of the rooms had separate beds so the kids did not fight having to share a bed!
The kitchen and porches were my personal favorite! The fenced backyard was a nice addition for any dogs or small children to be able to have a space.
Of course the main attraction of the pond and creek did not disappoint. We caught some of the largest brim we have ever seen in the pond!
Communication was spot on as the power went out briefly for us and the owners responded quickly with the status of the outage!
We will be back!

My family and I loved the privacy and total seclusion as we relaxed on our front porch. The hot tub was a bonus,,,in addition to all other amenities. This was our first stay there but won't be our last.

Heaven on the Waterfront was just what we needed! We had a girls weekend away in the mountains and stayed in the entire time because we didn’t want to leave the property! It is so gorgeous. We had our breakfast by the pond in the morning, afternoon cocktails sitting by the creek, let the pups run around in the fenced in area (major plus for dog owners!) and enjoyed soaking in the hot tub in the evening. Dave/hosts were very attentive, answered any questions we had, and provided tons of information about the area. We will be back!

The outside property was so beautiful and relaxing. The pond and creek were our favorite places to spend time. The teens loved the ping pong table in the garage. The interior of the house was spacious and comfortable. There were plenty of beds for the 7 of us to spread out. The property manager was quick to answer any questions we had and take care of any concerns we had. The house could use some more thorough cleaning. The master shower had no working fan so there was mildew growing there. Overall it was a comfortable home. We enjoyed the gas grill and hot tub. My family did not want to leave when our time was up!

This was my first VRBO rental and I could not be happier with the experience. The property is exactly as it is pictured - beautifully landscaped and very peaceful. Although there are neighboring properties, they are distant enough that I did not see anyone or hear anything. The home itself was spacious and clean with everything we needed to make ourselves feel at home. The only problem I had was that the property is so nice, we didn't want to leave! I look forward to returning to this lovely property again!

Peaceful. Comfortable. Relaxing. We definitely enjoyed our time at the cabin. One of the few places we felt at home immediately. Fishing in the pond, sitting on the porch, walking by the creek, it’s all so relaxing. I would definitely stay there again.

Best vacation in over a decade! My family had not gotten together since Covid hit three years ago, and I couldn't have dreamed of a better place for a reunion. The cabin is spacious and luxurious, with thoughtful touches such as walking sticks stashed in nooks, extra warm blankets, family games, and pantry staples such as coffee, hot chocolate and spices. There was even a bottle of wine waiting for us.

The setting was amazing, although isolated, which of course was part of the charm. Set deep in the woods, the cabin faces a circular pond full of fish, ringed with flowers, and a turtle we named Mudpie. A firepit is a short walk away, overlooking a swift but musical creek. We had fun wading in the creek (a stout hiking stick and sturdy shoes, preferably with laces, REQUIRED for this- flip flops and slides *will not* cut it), finding rocks like quartz and flint for our collection. There is a jacuzzi tub in the main bedroom, along with a huge outdoor jacuzzi. The surrounding forest was green, and the air crisp- rejuvenating in a way I can only call spiritual.

There is so much to do in the area, but after a single supply run into town, we never left the property. We were completely happy with the amenities available, and spent our time by the creek, on the big front porch, in the jacuzzi, playing games by the gas fireplace, watching movies on the multiple large tvs, or making huge family meals in the gourmet kitchen. There's also a ping pong table and exercise machine, but we didn't even have time to get to that.

If you have the chance to stay here, please take it. The host is very responsive, and there is a manager on duty who answers on the first ring. The place is clean, comfortable and modern. It's more beautiful than the pictures show. Thank you, Dave, for providing a place where my family could reconnect.

very peaceful location , if your looking to get away , relax and enjoy nature this place is for you ! it's about 15-20 min to the town of blueridge, but once you are here you won't want to leave.

The photos for this listing do not do it justice, especially the outside grounds. It is truly a beautiful place. The pond has several fountains that keep the water moving and prevent stagnant water. My boys (12 & 9) loved watching the fish, turtle and frogs. There is also direct access to a creek/river and we spent an entire afternoon exploring and wading in the water. The weather was hot but by the creek it felt a good 10 degrees cooler. One bonus that we didn't see in the initial write up was there was a fenced in yard. This made it nice for us to let out our beagle so he could run around and we didn't have to worry about him running off. The house itself was very spacious with way more room than my family of 4 needed but it let us spread out. There is a really nice jacuzzi tub in the master bath that worked well also. We would definitely stay here again and the owner and property managers were great with communications. Only downside was the early check out at 10am. It would be great if that could be pushed back to noon. One recommendation we would also have would be to add a streaming option like a Chromecast so we could cast our own streaming services to the main living room TV. Ultimately though I would highly recommend staying here, especially if you want a place to get away and relax in nature.

We decided to get away from Camp Shelby MS, and do some vacation time in the mountains, it was an excellent property with all of the amenities, we enjoyed every second of our time there, to the camp fire by the creek, to cooking on the grill, to watching movies in the living room.forna small drive it was a small drive to wamart, shoppping, and some great restaurants. I would say this has been the best property I have stayed in, would recommend 100 percent.

Everything was wonderful, and we had zero complaints. We were very comfortable during our stay and had everything we needed.

An absolute dream of a location. 10/10 Would reccomend. Great communication with the host. Amazing wifi, especially considering how far away from civilization you are. Incredible creekside view.

This was a last minute Mother's Day trip and I'm so glad we chose this cabin. My two daughters, 8 and 3, made such amazing memories here with my dad fishing in the pond. My 8 year caught her first little bass!
The layout was perfect. Plenty of room for the 6 of us!
The firepit and sitting area down by the water truly was heavenly. It did not take long to understand why this property was named Heaven on the Waterfront. It was exactly that!

There was a list attached to our welcome email with local activities and restaurants to choose from. We ended up using these instead of what we had originally planned. It made for a very Mather's Day family weekend.

I highly recommend this cabin for a great escape into nature or to simply get away and unwind from the day to day grind.
