Unbelievably Beautiful Cabin. Beautiful views,relaxing,nature at its finest. We stayed 8 days and did not want to leave. Highly recommend especially for families.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The previous reviews are spot on. The cabin is beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed the view while sitting outside and being warmed by the fireplace. The unit is perfectly located to give a rural mountain feel yet only 20 minutes from Ellijay or Blue Ridge. This deserves its five stars and if you book it you will be pleasantly impressed. In addition, Dave is very responsive to answer questions or fix issues that arise. Simply don’t know how it could be better.

Easy drive into Blue Ridge or Elijay … but why leave Monte Verde!

We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful location. The view was fantastic. It was so peaceful and quiet, we sat on the front porch every evening. The house is gorgeous, well maintained, well stocked and meticulously clean. It is a short drive to Blue Ridge, which is an adorable little town with plenty of restaurants. The Chamber of Commerce was very helpful in suggesting things to do during our stay. We drove up from Florida just to see what everyone was talking about. We love it and would try to stay at this house again. If you want to escape Florida heat, this is the place. The evenings were lovely and cool and the days were very comfortable. Also, management was welcoming and responded very quickly when I had a question.

Lovely place. Very secluded and private. The bed was super comfortable. The wifi was strong for my remote work and zoom meetings. The kitchen was fully stocked with a full spice rack. The outdoor spaces are very cozy and peaceful.

First and foremost, Dave was a great host and communicator. He quickly responded the several times we contacted him with questions, none of which had anything to do with any problems. We are very glad that of all the cabins we considered, we chose this one to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. My bride loved waking up to the spectacular morning view that was made possible by all the windows in the bedroom and all the glorious sounds of nature. The cabin truly had spectacular views, no matter what room you were in, and both floors had full length decks looking outwards in the distance. The pictures of cabin and descriptions of what was provided for use were very accurate and more. The cabin is as new looking as reflected in the pictures and you will not be disappointed. We did not use the fire pit, but it would be a great place to hang out, especially during the winter months. Would give it 10 stars if possible!!

David was an amazing host super easy to communicate with and very welcoming. I felt right at home from the moment I arrived. It was the perfect weekend getaway peaceful, relaxing, and just what I needed. The view was beautiful, and the surroundings were quiet and serene. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Me and my husband just celebrated our anniversary, and to be honest I couldn’t decide which property to choose from, and thankfully, we found Dave’s house everything about this house was just beautiful inside and outside. Dave was easy to communicate with. We fell right at home. I can’t wait to go back

Cabin Monteverde was a fantastic place for us to celebrate my husband’s birthday. From the moment we arrived we could tell the host, Dave, has put so much love and care in every detail. The furnishing, the appliances together with sheets and towels were all top quality. The place was extremely clean and well maintained.

First thing that wowed us was the awesome view of the mountains and the adjacent National Forest from every room. Each room has its own full bathroom with a shower. Kitchen was spacious and well stocked. We appreciated the condiments, including oil, the coffee and tea bar.
Check-in was easy and flawless and Dave was very responsive and took care of some small details that needed care and sent us an update even after we left to ensure everything is perfect.

The cabin is secluded we never felt unsafe. Dave sent us the Google link with the exact location in the check-in package which helped us find the place easily even at night. Thank you Dave for everything.

Absolutely loved staying here! Dave was a wonderful host and his cabin was an amazing oasis. We loved how private it was, how new, neat and clean everything was, and it was so fun having a ping pong table! Things that stood out to us: the kitchen was stocked and organized and everything was in pristine condition, no neighbors in sight, great location—not far from hiking trails, blue ridge, golf course, and the orchards—peaceful evenings on the deck, and it was a nice bonus to not have to log into our own accounts to stream on the TV as that has been an inconvenience in the past since it recognizes your ip address is different. Thank you Dave for such a wonderful weekend! We were looking for a relaxing weekend getaway and couldn’t be happier with our stay! The house is almost equidistant between downtown Ellijay and downtown Blue Ridge which made it easy for us to explore both areas. The house itself was stunning inside and out! The interiors were beautifully designed and decorated and kitchen was new, spacious, and fully stocked with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable which allowed us to catch up on some much needed sleep. Our favorite part was the back deck. With the breathtaking view and the sound of the creek, the deck was the oasis we needed to rest and recharge. We loved our time at Monteverde and will be back again.

Got a chance to head to Monteverde with a group of friends for an amazing weekend. Kitchen was great, and we made some great tacos and hamburgers. At night the living spaces were large enough for all of us to hang out together and watch YouTube. Cabin was an easy drive for us from Atlanta and was close enough to Cherokee NC for an afternoon at the casino. We are already looking forward to staying in this incredible cabin soon!

We were lucky enough to spend the New Year at Monteverde with our family. The cabin is absolutely amazing. The space was perfect for our families to enjoy. The kitchen is perfectly equipped (best equipped from any rental we’ve stayed at before) for some home cooked meals, which we enjoyed daily. The kids enjoyed the downstairs play area and the hot tub. And we all enjoyed the outdoor fire pit. We even saw deer on the driveway one morning. We will definitely be adding Monteverde to our list of must stays in the future again. Best cabin find so far!

This cabin was absolutely beautiful! Everything was very clean and cozy. Perfect place for multiple couples as there are two identical masters on the main level and another large room downstairs. We had a very nice mountain weekend stay. Especially enjoyed the fire pit and cooking breakfast in the well stocked kitchen. Will definitely try to come back sometime soon.

Dave was a great host. the place is very well accommodated. Beds are very comfortable, decks have ample sitting options for views. The place is very easy to operate with lighting and fireplaces. All the appliances are new. It can be tricky getting to the place via the directions and we found a faster and easier way to get to Blue Ridge but the directions provided will get you there. It is a very peaceful and quiet area, you can hear the stream/creek running about 1/4 mile away if that tells you how quiet it is.
Loved the place and will definitely return. Thank you Dave for the awesome experience!

We decided to head back to Cherry Log this December and stay at Celebrate Blue Ridge‘s newest location, Monteverde. We already had great times at two other properties and boy, were we in for a fantastic stay!

There is a pretty steep driveway headed up to the house, but after one time going up and down, you get the hang of it. Monteverde is gorgeous and very well done. I usually pay attention to details and can be picky, but the design and construction is top-notch.

We immediately fired up the main fireplace and explored this space. It has a large kitchen with almost everything you would ever need. The large family room is comfy with plenty of lightning. The TV above the fireplace is a bit of a head tilt, but there is literally no where else to put it. Sliding doors lead out to the large deck with a big couch, another fireplace and spot for a TV.

There is a large master bedroom with sliding doors out to the same deck. Beautiful master bath with walk-in shower. Brand new fixtures are always nice to use, as are the new style, lighted and defrosting mirrors.

The fireplace kept us warm on it’s own and we barely had the heat on in 40° temps.

There is one more well appointed bedroom and bathroom on the main floor and downstairs is an additional bedroom and bathroom with a tub. There’s a ping pong table, games and a nice couch in front of the third fireplace and TV. Sliding doors lead out to the hot tub, which worked great.

While there were only two of us, this space is so large it would be great for families and couples.

We only had the chance to make a fire one night in the pit on the pebbled ground floor area. Pit worked as expected and there was kindle and firewood right by the front door.

While we were at Monteverde, we experienced rain, sun and snow flurries! All in 5 days!

Monteverde is truly a "green mountain" escape. The views from the cabin and the two decks (with fireplaces!) were absolutely stunning. The decks are beautifully furnished and comfortable--absolutely marvelous for a morning coffee or an evening cocktail.

The kitchen is well-furnished with a spacious island and room for the six of us to prepare our specialities for the group. The dining area and sitting area are comfortable and cozy, yet spacious and airy. The high ceilings are perfect complements to the bright and airy rooms. As for the bedrooms and bathrooms--comfortable, well-appointed beds and bedding, spacious bathrooms, and lovely showers.All told, the cabin has great amenities. I highly recommend it!

The kitchen is lovely and so well appointed that meal preparation is a pleasure.The large center island adds extra convenience for prepping and serving. The den and 3 king sized bedrooms are ultra comfortable and beautifully furnished. A truly wonderful feature is a huge deck easily accessible to the den and to ALL the bedrooms. The furnishings on the deck and the large outdoor fireplace on the top level, directly accessible from the 2 on the main floor, create a luxurious space to gather, visit and relax. Closets are large and the baths are amazing. The shower in my bedroom is easily the most beautiful I have ever used; spacious and decorated with amazing blue tile.

Come with friends/family and plan to stay as long as you can! You will leave hoping to return again soon.

I had the pleasure of staying at MonteVerde with family. What a treat! The high ceiling and almost wall to wall windows spotlight the sweeping views that will sweep you off your feet! This is really quite a unique “cabin.” It has a modern design with every amenity you could desire, yet still charming and incredibly comfortable. A couple of us cooked in the bright and roomy designer kitchen while the rest of the family gathered around the large island for hors d’oeuvres. We relaxed on comfortable couches on the spacious deck and took in the mountain air until nightfall when we retired to the large sectional that fit us all. Conveniently, the owners had a guitar in the corner, which allowed us to enjoy the entertainment by the guitarist in the group. When we finally headed to our rooms, we were pleased to discover the firm, yet plush mattresses and modern, beautiful bathrooms in each bedroom. I highly recommend this mountain villa for a couple or a family! You will want to stay as long as you can.
