Our stay at dancing waters was perfect! It snowed while we were there and made it even more beautiful than it already was! Our host was extremely helpful and even offered us another night if the roads weren’t safe. We appreciate his thoughtfulness! Definitely worth every penny!

Excellent little cabin.

Once I found dancing waters I knew this was the perfect place for my husband and I with our dog. Not only was the place beautiful, clean, and cozy, Dave was a wonderful host. Always answered fast, gave great recommendations, and very accommodating. I highly recommend this stay! We did a lot of hiking to the waterfalls, they were all worth it and went into Helen, GA which was a fun little spot. Thank you so much, we will be back again.

This property is a dream. We wanted to get away to just relax, sleep, read, and play games. This was the perfect spot. The area has so much to offer with hiking trails, river tubing, and the adorable downtown of Blue Ridge, but we found no reason to leave the cabin. The beauty of the creek is indescribable. We loved that we could sit by the creek below, but also could enjoy it from the screened in porch while eating dinner and playing games, and also while in the hot tub. The cabin is the perfect size for 2. We would absolutely stay here again and look forward to doing so in the future!

A Couple's Retreat
The cabin was perfect for 2 with very comfortable sofa and chairs. Throws were soft and comfy. Very firm mattress and pillows on the bed.
Very well stocked kitchen and bathroom. plenty of towels. Loved the hot tub and robes).
Dave gave excellent recommendations and information.
Tips:
1. Back into the driveway. It is easier to pull out.
2. Cashes Valley road between Blue Ridge and cabin are much better (and safer) than Ellijay. Take the extra time to come in from Blue Ridge.
3. Take advantage of the screened in porch! it's so relaxing.

We came to the area for our honeymoon. We are big hikers so we liked the location.

My wife and I stayed here this weekend and the place was wonderful. the place is very clean and just a wonderful place to stay. We enjoyed getting up in the mornings and going out on the back porch and drink our coffee and listen to the creek and the birds it was just so relaxing. If you are going to visit the Blue Ridge Georgia area we highly recommend this cabin to stay in.

If you're traveling in North Georgia in the spring, just assume you'll get some rain, and maybe a power outage. Somehow, that's more romantic when you're in a cozy cabin over a rushing creek. Others have mentioned that the cabin is right next to the road, but the road at that point is almost a single lane and not heavily travelled enough for it to have been a problem. Beautiful drive from town to the cabin, through a gorgeous valley. You'll enjoy it!

This little cabin is perfectly placed on the side of a stream with great babbling stream sounds. We slept peacefully with the windows open. This place is equidistant between Ellijay and Blue Ridge, both have great little downtowns with plenty of restaurants and shops. So many great things to do in these areas..... and then to come back to a serene cabin and soak in the hot tub under the tree tops. We'll definitely be coming back.

We had a great stay at Dancing Waters. The cabin is in a peaceful, romantic location right by a creek, which made for a very relaxing atmosphere. The hot tub was clean and worked perfectly—great for unwinding at the end of the day.

We loved this cabin. The swing by the creek was amazing, we spent hours over our stay just sipping coffee and listening to the creek. The hottub was awesome and the kitchen was very well stocked. The only possible concern was that we brought two cars, and the parking was not very conducive for that. If you only have one vehicle, you'll be fine. We'll definitely be back.

We had a blast!! We will have great memories for years!!!Started off with a 8 hoiur drive up fron Jacksonville. Arrived about 3:30pm. After unpacking the truck, we decided to hang out for the evening. That decision was driven in part by the drive up. My wife is not a great rider of mountain roads so we switched up our idea of running into town in the afternons and staying to eat dinner. No late night runs. My bf and I had never been to the Georgia Mountains and our stay here was absolutely wonderful. The cabin was cozy with all accommodations needed. Unfortunately we didn’t get to use the hot tub but we would stay here again in a heartbeat. We brought along our dog which was another plus. Great location, highly recommend.

The location was perfect and so convenient to local sites and restaurants. We were able to travel to Blue Ridge, Ellijay, and Dahlonega to see the sites. The cabin was so cozy and perfect for a romantic getaway with our fur babies. The swing at the creek was our favorite. We took walks in the neighborhood too. It was a very nice location. The roads were all paved. The wifi was great! The bed was comfortable. The porch was awesome, and the kitchen was well stacked. The property is not in a remote area which we really liked. The houses nearby were pretty look at too. The best part of the whole place is the sound of the dancing waters, we will definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay in this quiant and cozy cottage. The proximity to the stream was very relaxing, as you can sit out on the porch or swing and listen to the soothing sounds of the moving water. We had everything we needed and the cottage was extremely clean and easy to find. We look forward to another trip to the mountains and a stay in this awesome cottage. We highly recommend this cottage for a get away from the city!

The cabin is super cute and had everything we needed. We loved the screened in porch and the water. Im not sure if it is like this all the time but we did feel as though the road was super busy and it is very very close to the front of the house.. We had our black lab with us so this made us nervous. This pet friendly cabin is def more suited for small lab dogs. It is about 20 minutes from Blue ridge.

Viewtopia has the most beautiful view and truly a beautiful cabin. Love the wrap around gated porch!! So did our pups!! We stayed there for a week, and it was spectacular. The pictures in the website do not do it justice. It is amazing. The cabin was lovely and very clean and cozy. The kitchen was all stocked up and ready for my daily dinners, as we don’t dine out while we are in the mountains. I loved that Green Pot!!! OMG best rice pot ever!! We took our dogs, and they loved it too!! The beautiful flower garden on the property was a very special treat!! I love flowers and they were in full bloom. I got some really good pictures. All of the landscaping was lovely, with the roses and a well-maintained yard. We were happy to meet Dave, the owner, who came to our aid, due to a TV situation, which resulted in a misplaced remote (OMG it was on the mantle)!! Thank you Dave for coming all the way!! We have been coming to the mountains (Tennessee and GA) for almost 16 years now and this by far, was the most beautiful spot we have ever been to. Great stay!

My husband and I had a wonderful relaxing time in your beautiful cabin. It was our first trip together to the mountains. We kept the windows open most days because the weather was so nice! The sound of the river below the cabin was sooo peaceful. The hot tub was a welcoming place for us to enjoy a glass of wine at least twice a day. We did venture out a few times but our time at the cabin was where we wanted to be.
The bed was comfortable and we had everything we needed. My husband also collected some wood and built a nice fire in the fire pit on our last day. Thank you for hosting us and helping make our birthday celebration special.

This is an amazing little cabin with everything that you need. We love that we were able to bring her baby with us. Taking a nap on the back porch was the most relaxing thing I had done in a very long time. There is a lot to do around Blue Ridge and it was a great trip to get out and see things as well as just spend a quiet night at the cabin with the fire highly recommend it and hope to come back

We loved this small but super cozy cabin. My girlfriend and I had an amazing time disconnecting from the world with our dog Apollo. The cabin has everything you need to stay in and enjoy nature. Great feel cabin situated basically right over the Toccoa River Creek… the sound of the water running just added to the stunning wooded use from the two decks…. Everything was thought of for the ultimate guest experience…. Very friendly… the check-in instructions are so easy and right on very good information was an incredible communicator.

Dancing Waters location could not be beat! Listening to the creek every night out on the screened porch was the highlight of our stay. This rental is perfect for couples and being dog friendly was a plus. The added touch of complimentary wine was wonderful as well. The bed was very comfortable and we slept wonderfully, except the night the power went out. All in all, we could not have asked for a better place to spend our time in the North Georgia Mountains.

We had the best time! The cabin is cozy and clean. We enjoyed relaxing in the recliner as well the hot tub and out at the creek. We left a few happy rocks by the water. Hope everyone enjoys their stay like we did. Tim and Jay Jay

The cabin and water was great. I would suggest though if you like to cook as I do, that you bring your own skillets, the cook ware is horrible and dishes are limited. We had a great time relaxing on the porch and swing listing to the water flow. The hot tub needs some cleaning but we did use it once. All in all I would suggest this little cabin to my friends.

Lovely quiet peaceful isolated.

My wife and I both deal with high pressure situations at the office and decided we needed to get away for a long weekend, all at the last minute. We packed a bag and headed to the mountains not knowing where we were going to stay. On the way I found this unbelievably beautiful place that was still available. I contacted the host “David”, who was super helpful and so gracious in helping me with the reservations. When my wife and I arrived later that evening we found a little slice of paradise sitting by a small river. It was very clean and just perfect for a couple looking to escape. There is nothing negative I can find to say about our stay. We will definitely be coming back.

This place was fantastic! The river is beyond beautiful, and you can hear it babbling throughout the night and while you enjoy the nice hot tub on the balcony. The stars were beautiful to look at while in the hot tub at night, and the wood burning stove was awesome to make the entire cabin nice and toasty even on the cold nights, so we hardly used the heat at all while we were staying here. The area around the cabin is very quiet, and the very comprehensive guide to the local area was phenomenal, I was looking into the suggested waterfalls to visit and found a beautiful one to propose to my now fiancé from Dave's suggestions!

This was by far one of the best Airbnb's that my fiancé and I have stayed at, and we were blown away by all of the amenities, the beautiful surroundings, local guidebooks, and every aspect of the cabin was far better than we anticipated. I look forward to potentially staying here again in the future, or at one of his other properties!

We so enjoyed staying at this sweet cabin. We walked in and the whole place was super clean and smelled amazing. There was even a Christmas tree set up for us since we were going to be there over the holiday. Sitting outside on the either deck (one is right off the living area and screened in) was so peaceful. You could sit and relax while listening to the river below flow below. We had our two fur babies with us and they were comfortable the entire stay. They really enjoyed inspecting the river and taking walks around the area. This is a place we would definitely love to stay again. Oh my gosh! This place really surprised me because we stay in air bnb’s often and this one was the first to really exceed my expectations. Also, cabins usually have a wonky smell but this one had a very pleasant light floral smell. Anyway, would highly recommend!

The cabin was so cozy and comfortable. I hiked the AT 15 years ago but never till now did I see Amicolala falls. A treat. Also ate my meals by the babbling brook. I visited Blue Ridge and enjoyed their stores So between the mountain air, babbling brooks and healthy hikes it was a memorable stay

Perfect peaceful pause 🙂 Everything was super clean. The bed was very comfortable. The creek was more beautiful than the pictures. I went exploring and the rocks are positioned just right so you could get out further into the creek. There was even a cool little beaver dam and the swing was relaxing. I hiked the Benton Mackaye Trail that was 2 minutes from the cabin. It’s a tough one so bring your hiking shoes. I absolutely love Mercier Orchard, they have any flavor hand pie you can think of. I had a yummy sweet potato pie. They also have frozen breakfast casseroles if one wants to pick it up while on vaca. Had to get a couple of their juicy apples too. 100% recommend Dancing Waters for a relaxing vacation! Keep up the good work!

This was a cute cabin in a very pleasant setting. The creek was really nice. Cabin was great too.

Needed some cleaning especially in corners and under bed. Bring your own water as the water smells like rotten boiled eggs. When you get past these 2 things everything else is perfect! Love the views

Dancing Waters was truly a great destination for a very enjoyable week in the north Georgia mountains. The cabin and the host, Dave Meeks, exceeded our expectations. The promos for the property were great but you never know how it will be when you are actually there, we were surprised in all ways. A great retreat destination for a couple. Just bring your food and personal effects and you are set, everything needed was provided and in perfect working order.

The drive in from the Ellijay side at night was a little concerning but if you abide by the instructions you arrive at the cabin door with no problems. Daylight arrival would be recommended. Actually, we found that the latest version of Google Maps will bring you to the cabin from any direction. We got out and explored several communities in Georgia and North Carolina. A very peaceful and relaxing time. certainly a 5 star rating.

Very comfortable stay up in the mountains. Loved the constant sound of the creek and how quiet the rest of the surroundings were. Our pups enjoyed it as much as we did!

Dancing Waters was the perfect summer getaway for us. The creek that runs adjacent to the property was the perfect backdrop of sound, while taking a daily walk in the water was something we looked forward to each day. It is only a few minutes either way from Blue Ridge or Ellijay and great hiking is close by. Both towns have good restaurants and shopping, but we chose to stay in because the cabin was so comfortable. We would definitely visit again and hope to!

We were celebrating our 19th Anniversary and it was an AMAZING place to reconnect and reignite our fire. The creek sound was relaxing, the view amazing and the hot tub was a great spot to wind down late into the. We will MOST DEFINITELY be back to finish the tours we weren't able to do and unwind away from the hustle and bustle of life. Loved Dancing Waters. We relaxed in the screened in porch listening to the creek! Did some creek walking and enjoyed the Blue Ridge area!

Overall, loved the cabin and would come back again. Had some problems with the TV and the electricity but both issues were resolved as soon as they were notified. Without electricity you have no wifi so had to drive to find a place with a signal to call for assistance.

My husband and I had a hard time leaving to explore the area! Such a cozy cabin with the sound of the creek is a perfect recipe to relax and recharge. It was very clean and had everything we needed to lock ourselves away for a couple of days. We did however venture out and hiked some of the suggested hikes. Great location that is away from town but close enough to explore.

Dancing Waters once again gets a 5 star review from the Ballington's. This is the 3rd year we have celebrated our Anniversary in this lovely cabin. Dancing Waters is immaculately appointed. There are robes and fluffy towels for not only your showering needs but also helps when getting in & out of the hot tub. The bed is extremely comfortable and provides great sleep. The landscape photos displayed throughout the cabin are gorgeous. My favorite part of the cabin though is the screened in porch where we relaxed while listening to the creek.

Dancing Waters did not disappoint once again! Clean, well appointed and well taken care of. The view and location are the best! Our only observation that really needs to be addressed is the lack of lighting. Dave uses Edison type bulbs and they are very dim! A couple of larger bedside lamps, add a light in the shower, closet and bathroom mirror would be a big help and perfect the experience. Thanks to the Celebrate Blue Ridge crew for another great vaca!! 4.5 Stars out of 5! Added lighting would take it up to 5!

My partner and I stayed at Dancing Waters for a 6 night getaway. This home and location is absolutely beautiful. The cabin is nice and clean and very well cared for. The hot tub was easy to use and very clean. We spent a lot of time relaxing in the private deck area, which had a great view of the creek. The best part was being able to sit creekside on the swing. We visited during the spring so we had warm days and cool water to explore in. We mainly stayed at the cabin but had a few days of adventure. The surrounding towns are full of things to do. We had an awesome stay here and would definitely come back and recommend this place. Dave is a great host. Very friendly and easy to talk to.

Fantastic property on beautiful land. Out of the way, but still convenient to Blue Ridge, McCaysville, Ellijay, and east TN whitewater. This was also one of the most, if not the most, well equipped vacational rentals we’ve stayed at. Lots of amenities, plus well stocked kitchen cookware.

We love the Blue Ridge area and visit here regularly. This year my wife and I were ready to spend some time by ourselves. Dancing Waters was the perfect place to do that. The property was clean and in order, as well as stocked with the necessities for the first few days. Though the area is secluded, it's close enough to Ellijay or Blue Ridge to find whatever you may need. The cabin itself sits right above Fightingtown Creek and there is a swing on the property at the edge of the creek which gave us a very relaxing time together. We had a wonderful stay at Dancing Waters.

This was our 2nd stay at this wonderful little cabin by Fightingtown Creek and it won’t be our last! It offers great hiking, short drive to downtown Blue Ridge for meals and shopping, and a wonderful screened in porch for listening to the creek water flowing by. The property manager, Dave, was excellent in communicating what to expect with your stay and was still open to help me when I thought I had left something by mistake. All around, it was a great trip for us!

Wonderful and cozy cabin located right by the creek. It was amazing!! We took our dogs and they loved it!! Great food and shopping in downtown Blue Ridge about 25 mins away. It was perfect!!!

This was a fantastic rental, and we absolutely recommend this wonderful place! The sound of the water rushing was so hypnotic…We spent 90% of our time on the porch, deck, or swing. We were very convenient to Mercier Orchards and town, although we only went back down once the whole stay. We were enjoying ourselves too much to leave that amazing creek. Check-in was a breeze, lots of great touches throughout, and check-out was just as easy. They send a lot of really helpful information ahead of time, and they were available for questions. This was a wonderful stay!! Highly recommend!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Cabin was adorable and just as pictured. Plenty of space for two to relax and enjoy for several days. Listening to the creek from the swing or porch was amazing! Manager provided lots of helpful information on the area and the cabin.

Wow! We only stayed a couple days but it was amazing! Great view & love the acoustics from the creek. It was so beautiful & relaxing. Our dog had a wonderful time too on her first trip! We hiked a waterfall that was about 45 mins away I think it was off the Benton MacKay Trail. We also ate some food from the rum cake lady Cuban restaurant. Everything was delicious. We cooked one meal there & the house was equipped with what we needed. The bed was very comfortable as well! We would totally recommend getting away to this spot.

This place is absolutely as advertised and more! We enjoyed every second of our stay and hated to say goodbye. This place has it all; location, view, and amenities. Not one speck of dirt or disorder and everything was well maintained. We left the owners a couple of gifts from Mercer’s Orchard on the counter (time sensitive)… Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home. We will definitely be back.

Dancing Waters is a comfortable little cabin located on a beautiful little creek. There is a great screened porch with a nice view of the water, a deck with a hot tub and grilling area and a creekside swing just down the stairs from the cabin. It's perfect for solo trips or a couple's get away and only a short drive from Blue Ridge and Ellijay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and absolutely recommend it!

Everything was as advertised. Actually more beautiful than the pictures. The sound and sight of the flowing river was awesome. We were looking for a house in the woods next to stream and this is EXACTLY what we were looking for. The leaves were changing and starting to fall which made for beautiful drives in and out of the area.

The house is very cozy and had everything we needed to cook dinners and admire the beautiful scenery and listen to the stream below.

I stayed the third week in Oct at the peak of color. The air was crisp and clean. I wanted a place to relax but also due some required online continued education about 10 hours a day. It could not have been any better. The home was clean, secluded, well maintained and had modern amenities. If available I am planning to book again next Fall when the dates are announced for another online course.

An ideal property to unwind and relax in. Really enjoyed the running water in the creek and views from the deck. The hot tub was great and the vicinity to Blue Ridge & Mercier Orchard was reasonable. Thoroghly enjoyed our stay.

First, Dave is an awesome host. Thorough and quick communication (and the property notebook on the counter when you walk in is FULL of ideas and info). Cabin is well kept and clean. My wife is in a wheelchair and although getting to and from the car I had to help her, once in, the doorways and floors make it easy for her to navigate on her own. The jacuzzi is great. There are 3 outside sitting options, all great: a screened in porch and an outdoor deck, both on cabin level; also a swinging bench at river level. I used all three. You’re only 20 minutes from both Blue Ridge and Ellijay and both are definitely worth visiting. Good Wi-Fi connection and TV options. Two slight downsides: the shortest route to and from the cabin has a gravel section of road 1/4:1/2 of a mile and the transition from the street to the driveway is so steep that the bottom of our car hit almost every time. But we truly enjoyed our stay and strongly recommend it.

This was the perfect getaway. I had no issues checking in. The house had everything that I needed, and was clean prior to my arrival. Being down by the creek was very enjoyable. The hot tub was relaxing as well. I felt cozy and safe in the house. Also, it’s not too far from town, which is very convenient. I would highly recommend this place. It was an enjoyable time!

Stayed at "Dancing Waters" for our 10yr anniversary and it was just what we needed! The large creek runs right behind the cabin. There is a walk way behind the house with a swing and we enjoyed coffee while listening to the creek flow. Very beautiful scenery!! We brought our chocolate lab and she loved playing in the water and fetching sticks. We actually walked in the creek and on the large rocks like we were kids again!! The cabin is a great, cozy spot for a couple. It was close to downtown blue ridge, grocery stores, and the lake. We brought our truck and trailer with 2 kayaks, it was a tight squeeze, but we made it work. It is the typical tight, curvey mountain road so you have to be careful backing in. The road actually had more traffic than we thought it would, but not in a bothersome way. We enjoyed the hot tub as well. If you stay you must visit The Swan drive-in movie theater. Eat at the rum cake lady, the cove, and toccoa riverside restaurant! We hiked Fall Branch Falls and kayaked on beautiful Lake Blue Ridge. It was a wonderful trip, we didn't want to leave!! Thank you for sharing your cabin, it was a much needed break from reality!! We will definitely be back in the future!!

We really enjoyed our stay. Our fur babies, Maggie and Molly, really liked their stay there too. There is plenty to do in the surrounding area if one wants to explore. The only challenge we had was parking in the driveway. We have a large pickup truck and it is a very small driveway on an incline. After a few back ins life became easier. Local neighbors were very nice. Some stopped to talk to us, and everyone fell in love with our dogs! Having the creek right there was very enjoyable to listen to. Keith and Carol

Dancing Waters was the perfect cabin for us to unwind in. We loved the hot tub and the porch was so nice since it’s screened in, we didn’t have to deal with any mosquitoes while we enjoyed coffee and meals outside. The creek below is amazing, we loved sitting out there with a glass of wine and enjoyed the scenery! There is everything you could ever need in the kitchen, we cooked many meals at home. 10/10 recommend if you are looking for a private and cozy getaway!

This cabin was an ideal spot for my wife and I (and our small dog). It was exactly as the pictures suggested, with a beautiful creek serving as a perfect soundtrack to our stay. Clean, well located, and stocked with all we would ever need, this small cabin is an ideal option for folks looking for a romantic stay in the Blue Ridge area.

This was a beautiful property and the communication with our host was very good. The only drawbacks is it is quite far from town and everything in town closes early. The bed seems smaller than a king but that could be perception. The view from the deck is amazing and the cabin is very comfortable and well appointed. We did lose power several times. We checked the breaker as instructed. Since that did not work, the next instruction is to call the power company. Unfortunately the cabin phone is cordless so doesnt work without power and without power for wifi calling we had no cell reception. Luckily the power came back on just as we finished getting dressed to drive to where we had cell phone service!

The house is in a nice location on the river. Best part you can hear the water and see the water from the deck. Kind to allow pets and very cute that has a small pet door on the door to porch.

We celebrated our 25 anniversary at Dancing Waters. We had a wonderful time. We, my husband and I stay super busy. So to have such a beautiful quiet place to get away and relax was just lovely. Coffee in the swing by the creek, or on the back deck overlooking the creek was such peaceful way to start the day. Finishing the day soaking in the hottub was amazing. Everything was perfect. From the bottle of wine and snacks on the counter for our anniversary, to the hottub, (already set to temperature)and robes waiting for us. Just perfect. Thank you so much! Definitely enjoyed ourselves. If you are looking to get away and relax, this is a wonderful place to stay. I would definitely recommend Dancing Waters.

This is the second year my husband and I have stayed at Dancing Waters over Memorial Day Weekend. I am a teacher and Memorial Day is the start of my summer vacation. I am always exhausted and ready for resting. David takes time to make sure every detail plus others are taken care of for the guests. There are Tide Pods for laundry plus a bottle of wine waiting. It is a perfect place to rejuvenate in nature.

Dancing waters was everything I had hooked and then some. The location is hard to be with proximity to downtown Blue Ridge as well ascAska road and all of the areas you want to be in. Fortly, the pride of ownership and genuine caring displayed by David the owner is felt in every corner of the cabin. So many little surprises I wasn’t expecting in every corner of the house weren’t even mentioned on the Airbnb listing. The sound of the Rushing Creek beneath your feet and the sight of it are so therapeutic, my short stay there did wonders. Do yourself a favor and don’t look any further, this is the place you want to stay and David is the host you want.

This is the perfect place to get away. We eloped and went and stayed at Dancing Waters for the weekend. Owner is very nice and sent messages leading up to our stay with all the information. There is a book with great suggestions on things to do and places to eat. We sat by the creek, in the creek and enjoyed the water. Hot tub on the outside deck is very nice in the evenings. We will definitely be back!!

A really amazing place.

Loved:

- The vibe/setup when we first checked in was awesome and set tone for the weekend
- The location is far enough out to have the feel of being in the middle of nature, but close enough to drive into town (Roads were somewhat narrow and partly just dirt for a small portion, but our sport car get there just fine in the month of May)
- Awesome to have a fully screened in porch as well as open air area of the porch (with the grill and hot tub)
- Hot tub was awesome (just remember to turn up as instructed to when you first get there to it heats up right away)
- The creek was probably the best part of it all that added to the vibe and background noise (also cool to sit on the swing right on the shore of it)
- Multiple Bluetooth speakers available which was great
- YouTube TV was great on both TVs (WI-FI was awesome the entire time)…remember no cell service there

Honestly not much I would change about the experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Dancing Waters for our honeymoon. It was very quiet and relaxing which is exactly what we were looking for after the wedding.

Great place to de-stress. House is the perfect size for 2. We particularly loved the swing and being so close to the beautiful running creek. The sound from the water was easily heard even inside if the house was quiet. If you opened a window or the door to the screened porch it sounded like you were sitting at the edge of the creek. The hot tub is not covered but we had great weather and loved it being open air. We were provided with lots of information on things to do and places to eat. We loved the pizza place next to Ingles Grocery in Elijay!! Lots of cute places to see in Blue Ridge. Both Elijay and Blue Ridge are an easy drive. The house sits very close to the road and the parking pad is tight, but neither are problematic. Be aware that there is no ice maker so pick up a bag of ice on your way in to use along with the provided ice trays. All in all a beautiful, relaxing place to spend a week for our 40th anniversary! ♥️

It was a wonderful stay. Clean and right on the stream. The pnly slight downside is the house is only about 10 feet from the gravel road. Not a big deal, but it was a little busy on Sunday

Great getaway for a couple!

Beautiful little cabin nestled in the mountains by a gorgeous creek! Well appointed cabin with very comfortable furnishings. Extremely comfortable bed. Great hot tub! Very cozy place! My boyfriend and I enjoyed it very much! The last night it snowed 2 inches and was absolutely stunning! Overall great place for a couple!

We enjoyed the weather and cozy accommodations! Driveway parking was a little tricky for our large pickup truck, but we managed. Thanks to residents and other travelers for their patience while we maneuvered our vehicle. Our favorite part was the swing just steps from the river's edge...listening to the water was very relaxing!

So relaxing. All we needed were a couple groceries, Dave provided the rest! He gave us coffee and creamer, a bottle of wine, and all the toiletries one would need. I highly recommend this cabin. I took videos of the water rushing under the deck to listen to to remind me of our well spent time there.

The cabin is so cozy, charming, and well appointed! The stream is gorgeous background noise you can hear even with the doors closed. There was nothing better than sitting in the hot tub listening to the water and looking up at the stars. My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer.

This is a perfect cabin for a couple to get away from it all. Perfectly positioned between both Ellijay and Blue Ridge, it was a nice escape from reality!

My husband and I stayed at Dancing Waters for our anniversary. The cabin and the location exceeded our expectations! The location of the cabin was pretty easy to find. We were given excellent directions. The roads were windy, but not as scary as some locations of cabins in the mountains. The area was stunning especially since the leaves were at their peak with brillant reds, yellows and oranges. The creek was gorgeous and so serene. Our favorite thing to do was go down to the swing, located on the creek, and just sit, relax and listen to it's music. The cabin itself was so very, very cozy. Perfect for a couple. Cutely decorated, it was clean, and the bed was super comfortable. It was really hard to leave the cabin! The Host Dave provided us lots of good information on the area, and things to do and see. The only issues we had were the hot tub, not sure if it was due to a faulty loose receptacle or just user error. The cabin is pet friendly which was a plus for us, but didn’t realize there was no area for us to let our dog out. We had to leash her every time and walk her on the very narrow road, but all is good! Our stay was perfect. Thank you Dave! Your cabin gave us beautiful, lasting memories. We definitely want to return to Dancing Waters, a very enchanted place.

It was love at first sight!! My wife and daughter said everything was perfect. The cabin definitely caught my eye while driving by it one day, while out scouting for real estate. The girls wanted to buy it. To tell you the truth I don’t think you could improve on Dancing Waters. Even the name is perfect! I definitely think we will be back again. And my wife and daughter will tell you I am a hard to please. Being retired military I look for and demand a well organized and clean place to stay. Dancing Waters met my so-called high standards and more. I have already told a few of my friends and family members about Dancing Waters and they are interested. So do I get a commission?? Just kidding. My sons want to come now. So we will definitely return.

Even though it rained every day, our stay was most enjoyable with the babbling sound of the creek and all facilities as cited on VRBO.

The draw of this place is definitely the location. It’s serene and wonderfully beautiful. The screened porch and swing by the creek are perfect spots to relax.

Blue Ridge is beautiful this time of year! I suggest making a grocery/ supply run before going to the cabin as it’s a bit away from any stores. Checkin/ out was super easy and we had no issues during our stay.

This cabin was great for a long weekend getaway. It was very clean and the view was definitely beautiful. It was also in a great location, very close to town. There is no cell service at the cabin, so make sure to turn on WiFi calling.

Amazing stay, relaxing, great host

My husband and I wanted to get away to the mountains for some hiking, fishing and fall festivals. This was the perfect location. The cabin was exactly as described. We rent 2 houses per year on average so I notice the little things. They asked for our arrival time and knew we would be late so porch lights were on so we could easily find our way. There were many spices to use for cooking and some 'to go' coffee cups which is a really nice touch extra touch. Robes were provided which made getting out of the hot tub on a chilly evening, a little easier. Lastly, the management company checked in with me first thing the next morning to see if all was well. I had one question and the owner replied promptly. It could not have been any better.

Loved the space. Very relaxing atmosphere & impeccably appointed.

Depending on your itinerary, you may want to hit up a grocery store before you settle in; most grocery stores are a good 20 minute drive from the cabin.

Dancing Waters provides everything you need to recharge! We came for 12 days and only left 3 times! Need we say more?? It was very peaceful and the bubbling creek provided the tranquility needed. We’ll be back!!

This is a really wonderful place for a getaway. My husband and I went away there for our first vacation in a long time, and it was just great. It is in a peaceful, woodsy setting. We even could walk to a trailhead for a nice hike. The towns nearby are pretty low-key, but if you’re looking to get away from it all and relax, this place is perfect. Dave answered all my questions quickly and the home was just as-expected. Another bonus was that it was dog-friendly, so we could bring the dog on vacation with us!

This home is absolutely beautiful abs would make for a great weekend stay. If traveling at night, it’s a little tricky to find, so definitely check in during daylight hours. Otherwise, enjoy the views!

We loved our short getaway at Dancing Waters. The communication was great and Dave was very responsive. Everything was as shown/expected. Very clean with plenty of supplies, linens and kitchen items. We spent a day traveling around and seeing some local outdoor sights, this cabin is in a great location. We also spent a full day in the cabin and only make a quick store run. The sound of the creek was so relaxing and was probably my favorite part! We spent time on both decks as well as wading through the water and sitting in the swing. Felt like we were much more unplugged and secluded than we actually were and this cabin allowed us to reset and recharge. We used the grill and hot tub, both were clean and worked well. The bed and was amazing and my husband still talks about the mattress and pillows! Definitely recommend.

Dancing Waters is a wonderful little cabin. Check in is as easy as entering the electronic door lock code. The cabin itself appears to be brand new. It's just the right size for two people to spend a weekend in the mountains. After we unpacked, I stood on the deck and watched trout swimming in the creek behind the cabin. My one and only complaint is that it takes the hot tub a LONG time to heat up. It was set on 85 degrees when we arrived, and a comment in the guestbook said that it takes a long time to heat up, so at around 6 PM we set it to 100 degrees so that it would be hot when we came back from supper. At 9 PM, the temperature of the hot tub was 92 degrees. It's probably just a heating coil that needs to be replaced, and the fact that we had to wait until the second night to enjoy the hot tub didn't tarnish our experience at Dancing Waters at all. We'd rent it again!

My husband and I celebrated our 26 wedding anniversary here. It was a perfect place for our celebration. There was a bottle of wine waiting on us upon arrival. The cabin is perfectly appointed. There are photographs of the area throughout that add a nice touch. The soothing sound of the creek as you read or take a nap is relaxing. We’ve already booked our next stay!

Took my wife to Blue Ridge / Dancing Waters for her birthday. we had a wonderful week and a great escape from the real world.

For first time visitors, we had an amazing time. We loved the simplicity of Blue Ridge and the natural beauty of everything. The cabin could not be in a more beautiful and peaceful location. Everything was perfect.

The setting was excellent. The cabin was built right to the edge of the creek. A screened sun-porch was perfect to read or share meals listening to the sound of clear water over rocks. Go down the stairs to the creek and find where they've hidden a porch swing right next to the creek's bank. Great place to relax for a few days.

We loved our stay at Dancing Waters! The location was beautiful and the house was super clean and came stocked with lots of little extras to make sure we had everything we needed to make it feel like home. My husband had a great time fishing, we both spent and afternoon hiking the Benton MacKaye, and the hot tub was the perfect way to end the evening. Any question we had was promptly answered. We hope to be able to return to visit here or one of Dave's other cabins soon.

Very special cabin and location. Path down to river and awesome river swing is easy to navigate, even for ages 60+ like my husband and I. The hot tub was nice and fun.

My boyfriend and I had an amazing time at Dancing Waters. The hot tub was so perfect, and we cooked steaks on the propane grill for dinner. Everything was incredibly clean and comfortable, and the river sounds and view were so nice and relaxing. The property manager was very accessible and it made our trip stress free. Such a great place for a much needed getaway. Would love to go back!

My husband and I stayed at Dancing Waters for our anniversary. The cabin was very cozy and perfect for a romantic getaway. The host, Dave was amazing, very quick to respond, and provided us with a ton of helpful information about the area. The hot tub was wonderful, and we spent a lot of time sight seeing and listening to the river. The house does sit close to the road, but we were already aware of this and it didn’t take anything away from our stay (we actually preferred it because it made it easy to find and access). Also, I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a cleaner place, it was immaculate! Overall great cabin, and we will be coming back!

We enjoyed our stay here and loved the location on the creek. The hot tub over looking the water was awesome. The kitchen was fully stocked with kitchen ware (pots, pans, measuring cups, etc.) and anything you would need to cook meals at the cabin (excluding food).

My husband and I loved our stay. The cabin was clean and cozy. We stayed over Christmas and it started snowing on Christmas Eve giving us a white Christmas. They put a Christmas tree in the cabin for the holiday which made things even better. Dave was extremely communicative.

We had a great time at Dave's cabin! My partner and I booked the cabin for my birthday, and it is the perfect size for a couple. It is convenient to a bunch of great day hikes. We enjoyed the Benton Mackaye trail, and we loved exploring the area around Lake Blue Ridge. I really appreciated Dave's extensive list of suggestions for hikes and places to eat in the area. We had a delicious birthday dinner at Harvest on Main. We'll definitely be back!

Accurate descriptions and photos. Like others have said, the houses you can see are a little close but not bothersome in the slightest. Dave was responsive (and I guess I didn't mind asking and reaching out to him because so many people said he was responsive) to our questions. Even when we lost power, he checked the grid to let us know the outage area and number of homes impacted. Others have mentioned the touches... wine on arrival, coffee, salt/pepper, ice cube trays filled, and super clean. Comfortable bed, great shower. Easy instruction book (except the hot tub because we had to call Dave, but we were just dumb about it, haha) and great book about local attractions and food. Wifi was strong and consistent (which is good because no cell service and we had to work a bit). Was a great getaway in a well-appointed and comfortable home! Well done Dave! Thanks for making our stay lovely! Puzzles and games were a nice touch too and the husband was happy to see the GA game on Youtube live TV. Hope to stay again!

This cabin is really amazing. My wife and I spent 3 nights and loved every minute. The host provides lots of thoughtful touches. The kitchen was nicely equipped and lacked for nothing. All of the furniture is like brand new and very comfortable. Every room was spotless and fresh. The hot tub and grill worked perfectly. And the ambiance created by being right on the creek was so peaceful and relaxing.

We have stayed in a lot of cabins in the area over the years. This place is now leaps and bounds on the top of the list. The location was perfect, the layout was perfect, the amenities were perfect and the place was perfectly appointed and extremely clean and well maintained. The setting on the stream was breath taking and serene. It's a quick hop into some of the best whitewater rafting, zip lining and overall fun along with lots of great food in town. Then you get back to your secret hide away on the mountain stream. Perfection!

I had read other reviews about neighbors and the road behind the house being distracting. We did not find that to be the case at all! This place is quaint, and secluded, and the flow of water behind the house is beautiful. A great romantic setting!

Dancing Waters was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway! The place was beautiful, clean, and was exactly as described. The sound of the creek right outside the door was so peaceful. The kitchen was very well appointed as was the whole home with everything we needed. Access to and from the home was easy and proximity to Blue Ridge was even closer than expected. Communication with the owner was also very good. We will definitely try and stay here again in the future!

Dancing Waters was amazing! My fiancé and I wanted to get away for some peace and quiet for his 50th birthday. The cabin is absolutely beautiful and serene. The Dancing Waters’ creek is a calming soundtrack for relaxing on patio as well as the screened-in patio. We enjoyed an awesome nap during an afternoon thunderstorm. The extra touches of the cabin were lovely. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to cook in. The propane grill came in handy for burgers and dogs. The Roku in living room wasn’t working however, Dave was diligent in helping us work it out. I can’t wait to stay at Dancing Waters again. It will definitely become an annual get away as it is nestled in gorgeous trees, secluded from other cabins. Oh, the cherry in top was the hot tub! This was a really beautiful place and a definite recommend for couples who want a quick getaway. The description and pics are no match to the actual beauty of the place. The check-in was smooth and Dave was pretty much on point when it comes to responsiveness. Private creek, hot tub, BBQ grill, this place has got everything. The location is pretty secluded so you will be at peace for sure. Will definitely come again if I can.

We celebrated our first wedding anniversary here over the weekend, and it was the perfect place to just get away for a few days! We loved sitting outside and listening to the creek below. It’s not far from a lot of fun shopping, great restaurants, and activities! Highly recommend staying here, and Dave was great and very easy to communicate with!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Dave was very helpful with information about the area and quick to respond. The cabin is very spacious for two people. The bed is VERY comfortable. I’d love to come back when the weather’s cool enough to open the windows to hear the creek all day. FYI the kitchen has a mini dishwasher (think size of a microwave) so ended up doing a lot of dishes by hand. Not a big deal though. Would gladly stay here again. Every year we do two birthday getaways. This year, for my wife’s big day, we decided on the mountains of Georgia to get away from city life. We picked Blue Ridge because it is close (9 hour drive) and decided on Dancing Waters. So glad we did! What a beautiful cabin with all the amenities we could ask for. Overlooking the Fightingtown Creek with a comfy swing right at the creek’s edge and the sound of the rushing water made this location extra special. We grilled our dinner and enjoyed the hot tub every night as we awaited the nightly arrival of the fire flys. Secluded enough to feel like we were deep in the woods, Dancing Waters is only 15 minutes to downtown Blue Ridge. A 5 minute walk takes you to the Benton Mckaye Trail which we conquered as well as a 20 minute drive to Amicalola Falls, the tallest waterfall in Georgia. Thank you for being very responsive to any needs we had and making this a memorable birthday adventure. We hope to visit again in the fall!

Dancing Waters was the perfect romantic getaway! The cabin is beautiful and sparkling clean and boasts all the amenities that you would need, as well as some creature comforts (like YouTube TV)! The roaring Fightingtown Creek is absolutely pristine and is so loud and relaxing that it can still be enjoyed inside the cabin too! The surrounding area of Blue Ridge is a charming little town with several local shops and eateries and the nearby nature attractions are perfect for relaxing or adventure! We can't wait to return in the fall to see all the fall foliage!

We had a fantastic getaway! Dave was super responsive and helpful! We sat in the river with our folding chairs and it was amazing! The hot tub was perfect and we watched movies at night. We worked out on the screened in porch and cooked two delicious meals. The bed was soooo comfy! And the towels were so soft. We loved it so much. If we had any complaints it would be that we didn’t realize we’d be able to see other cabins or be so close to the road but we chose to enjoy our stay as though nobody was around and for us it was perfect! We would love to return!

This house is a delight! I has very comfortable porches (one screened porch and one open deck) overlooking the babbling creek, and a hot-tub in case you want to take in the scenery in luxury. The cabin itself is perfectly cozy, with a nice setup for a quiet weekend away. There is a great hike within walking distance of the cabin, and afterwards you can dip your overheated feet in the creek. We would definitely stay here again, what a fun spot to get away for a weekend!
