What a great place to relax! We love renting from CBR! Dave is always super responsive and attentive, but never intrusive! This property truly offers the best of everything. Spacious for family time. We stay in for most meals on vacation, and the kitchen is well-stocked and user friendly. Ample bedrooms and bathrooms. While the house is great, the outdoor spaces truly offer the peace we seek on vacation. The stocked pond, the large flowing creek, the fire pit, the front porch with rocking chairs, and the back deck were all places we relaxed. We brought beach chairs that served as creek chairs this week. It was great to feel that cold flowing water on the hot days. The Ping-Pong table in the garage got a good workout, too. Morning walks with the fur baby as the woods were waking up was a great way to start the day. Evening walks as a family to the creek were a great way to end the day. So many things to love about this property! Dave, thank you for being a great host!

Well stocked kitchen, and everything thought of ahead of what you could possibly need. Quick, kind, friendly response to our questions. Dave is great! Property right on the trail. Would highly recommend.

My husband and I had the best time on our couples’ getaway to this cabin in Blue Ridge. It was comfy and clean and came with almost everything you could think of! My husband enjoyed the hot tub, while my favorite part was reading on the swing by the creek. If you’re looking for a quiet and relaxed atmosphere, this is the place! We plan on returning next summer.
SkyLodge Blue Ridge
Great stay. Wraparound porch was awesome, amazing view, thoughtful amenities like firewood. Host was great and responsive. Would stay here again! One warning: to get to the house you’ll have to drive up a steep gravel/dirt road. Our Nissan Rogue couldn’t get up it on two attempts - stalled out both times and couldn’t keep enough traction. On the try, we backed up, floored it, kept the pedal down the whole way, and barely made it. Make sure to bring a car with some power, or a 4WD you trust on loose gravel. Not sure we’d have made it up the mountain if it wasn’t dry.
